Luke (born: January 31, 1997)[1], better known online as Punz or PunzOP (formerly known as Vove Punz) is an American gaming YouTuber originally from Massachusetts, now living in Florida, who mostly makes Valorant and Minecraft gameplay content. He produces significantly more Twitch content than YouTube content.
History[]
Punz uploaded his first video on September 2, 2020 titled "We tried speedrunning Among Us... (ft. Dream)". This video went viral, gaining Punz thousands of subscribers. Punz is known for being one of Dream's friends and being one of the members on the Dream SMP (although he doesn't regularly stream Dream SMP content, choosing instead to stream fps games like Valorant, or speedrunning). He was part of Team Vove but left somehow before joining Dream SMP or mid-2020.[citation needed]
MC Championship[]
In 2020, Punz participated in Noxcrew's and Dangthatsalongname's MC Championship event, an event where YouTubers and streamers would come together to play a wide variety of fancy minigames. The tournament consists of 10 teams and 40 players, featuring a variety of custom minigames. The prize is a special MCC coin by Noxcrew.

Minecraft Ultimate[]
Minecraft Ultimate was a 250-player Minecraft Hunger Games event hosted by Pikaclicks. Viewers could donate money to give players in-game advantages. The money raised would go to charity.
Punz played in Season 3, teaming with FireBreathMan, BadBoyHalo, and Skeppy.[2] In Season 4, his teammates were TapL, BadBoyHalo, and Captain Puffy.[3] His Season 5 team included Hannahxxrose, Captain Puffy, and Sneegsnag.[4]
Retro Rivals[]
Retro Rivals was a retro video game-themed Minecraft event hosted by Gav1n, Zyphon, and Logicologist. The minigames within the tournament were based off titles such as Pac-Man, Street Fighter, etc. Seasons were called "levels".
In Level 1, Punz was on the Wonderous Warios. His teammates were vGumiho, RedVelvetCake, and Antfrost.[5] The Wonderous Warios won 1st place.[6]
In Level 2, Punz was on the Yappin Yoshis. His teammates were vGumiho, Eret, and ElainaExe.[7] The Yappin Yoshis placed 8th (out of 12 teams). Punz placed 19th individually.
Controversies[]
Andivmg's allegations[]
On March 10, 2024, Luke's ex-girlfriend Andivmg posted a 2,782 word Tumblr post titled "My experience with Luke (Punz)"[8] In the beginning of the post, she explained how endured emotional neglect, gaslighting, verbal abuse, one instance where there was dubious consent, among other things, during her relationship with Punz. She claimed to have received "copious amounts of hate and harassment" from the Punz's fanbase. Andivmg explained that she faced backlash from the online community after using a slur against Mexicans and Latinos. Andivmg provided another example of Luke being allegedly racist while watching season 2 of Bridgerton, she detailed; "he implied that the Sharma sisters were 'too dark' for him to be attracted to them." Andivmg also accused Punz of berating her and insulting her during a depressive episode. In the final section of the post, Andivmg discussed how on April 22, 2022, her and Luke had an "heated argument" after Luke planned to play Valorant all day on their one year anniversary. After times settled down, Andivmg stated that GeorgeNotFound come over with flowers and drinks, she elaborated, that she blacked out after second drink and woke up the next morning naked. She asked him why she was naked and he said, 'Because you didn't want to put your clothes back on.' When she clarified to him that that was not what I meant, he got defensive and said that he didn't realize how drunk I was." Andivmg added that he told her that "she initiated sex with him and that I was very enthusiastic about it." Andivmg stated that she broke up with Punz that day.
On March 11, Punz posted on X, addressing the allegations. He admitted he used a racist slur and apologized. In response to Andivmg's allegations of "dubious consent," Luke denies he took advantages of anyone.[9]
Andivmg responded with several Tumblr posts, saying she doesn't accept Luke's apology. She also shared that Punz would share information without her consent, mentioning a situation between, Dream and herself. She ended the post, showing support to Caiti, Lexie, Shelby, and all other victims.[10]
