Rare Americans is a Canadian-Slovak band that is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada that was founded by James Priestner and Jared Priestner in 2018. Their most popular song is "Brittle Bones Nicky" with over 61,000,000 views as of 2022. Alongside their music videos, they have also released behind-the-scenes vlogs, a documentary about the history of the band, and Patreon-exclusive cooking videos.

B.A.G.G.A.G.E & Shay[]
B.A.G.G.A.G.E is the first part of the song. In the video clip, we can see James traveling to a tropical country (assumebly Hawaii) and during the flight, he met a girl and they ended up hanging out together during their stay in that country. However, there was one drawback regarding that girl, she lost her husband in a car accident, prompting James to support her emotionally on an evening while she was crying in the bathroom. To follow the story, a new song was created called Shay where we discovered that the girl's name is Shay and the entire clip is just James and Shay talking on their phones which is obviously, a long distance relationship, prompting it to end really quickly.
Walkin' n' Talkin[]
Walkin' n' Talkin is a story of James trying to get qualified for a talent show. At the beginning of the clip, we can see him walking and overthinking about his future. He has characters around his face telling him that he's not gonna succeed anywhere in life, prompting him to feel discouraged of even going to the talent show. However, the mascot of the group, decided to help and he accomplished to step on the stage and sing & play the guitar.
Brittle Bones Nicky 1 and 2
Their most popular song tells the life story of Brittle Bones Nicky, from him getting taken away from his abusive father, to being arrested to dying of old age. The sequel follows Nicky in the afterlife trying to get a second chance and be a guardian angel for his mother, who survived her abusive husband from the first Brittle Bones Nicky song.
