Cameron McKay (born: September 18, 1996 (1996-09-18) [age 28]), better known online as Fitz (also known as GoodGuyFitz), is a New Zealand YouTuber known for his comedic gaming videos. He currently resides in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia along with five of his friends, a podcasting group called Misfits.[1][2]

Cameron mostly makes comedy videos on playing shooter video games like CS:GO, PUBG, Fortnite and on the odd occasion Rainbow Six Siege with his friends.

History[]

Cameron started his channel by making normal Let's Plays on CS: GO, DayZ, H1Z1, and Battlefield. He started doing compilations of funny moments with subtitles that focused on jokes people say while playing.

Ever since Cameron came across people that were bigger than him (subscriber-wise), Fitz was able to collaborate with them and make these videos which helped the boost of his channel. The Fitz channel started blowing up on June 2016, when he gained 45,000 subs in 20 days. In September, he had about 110,000 subscribers. Currently, he still does Funny Moment videos monthly with many of his friends.

On 24 January, 2023, it was announced that Fitz will face Australian YouTuber I did a thing on Creator Clash 2: Influencers Will Pay on April 15 at the Amalie Arena.[3] On 13 March, it was announced that the fight been cancelled due I did a thing had garnered a concussion in sparring and will not be able to fight Fitz on Creator Clash 2.[4]

Controversy[]

In March of 2020, CallMeCarson unfollowed both Katerino and Fitz/Cameron on Twitter/X. Few days later Carson went on reddit to confirm the rumours that his alleged girlfriend, Katerino had cheated on him with Cameron, who is friends with Carson.

In January of 2021, it was revealed by Chad Roberts on Instagram that the entire situation was misleading as Carson and Kate were never together, and according to Chad, Carson was fine with Fitz and Kate being together. On January 4, 2021, Anything4views also confirmed that Carson and Kate were never in a relationship.[5]
