Flare Shiranui is a Japanese VTuber who is part of Hololive, as part of its third generation, Hololive Fantasy, alongside Marine Houshou, Rushia Uruha, Pekora Usada and Noel Shirogane.

Flare debuted on August 7, 2019 in a livestream, her next few streams being of Minecraft. She also played LIMBO, Getting Over It, Identity V, Muse Dash, 60 Seconds, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Tetris, Okaeri, Super Mario World, ARK, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Visage, Splatoon 2, Cooking Simulator, Little Witch Nobeta, The Ghost Train, Super Metroid, Innunaki Tunnel, Fall Guys, Infliction, Super Donkey Kong, Super Mario 64, Theif Simulator, Grand Theft Auto 5, Teketeke, UnderTale, Deltarume, The Watchers, Ume Masume Pretty Derby, Monster Hunter Rise, Biohazrd, Devil May Cry, Everhood, Mario Gold, Inside, Grime, The greatest penguin heist of all time and Doki Doki Literature Club.

She also covers songs such as KING - Kanaria, Goodbye Declaration - Chinozo, Mental Chainsaw - Kairiki Bear, That's why I gave up on music - Yorushika, Monster - YOASOBI and Ai Kotoba III - DECO*27. Some of her singing streams featured Marine Houshou, and her artstyle influenced in some of her drawing streams.[1][2] She rarely hosts free talk streams, and most of her channel's content consists of Minecraft streams.

She also uploads shorts of her in VR.

Collaborations[]

Most of her collaborations are with her genmates, especially Noel Shirogane, who has affections for her and often gets jealous when anyone else flirts with Flare. Due to Flare's kind-to-a-fault personality, she is nicknamed "harem protagonist" and it is often joked that Marine, Noel and Rushia are part of her "harem". She also stands out due to her carefree attitude and often laughing even if she loses or witnesses something terrifying, like in horror games.

Suisei appeared in her earliest gaming streams, and one of her earliest chatting streams featured Patra Suou, who would return again for future chatting streams as well as play Phasmophobia with her in 2021[3][4][5]. Her streams of ARK featured Kiryu Coco and Subaru Oozora, and in Minecraft, Flare is known for her skilled sense of architecture, and heads Shiranui Kensetsu, a construction company that employs Polka Omaru, Suisei Hoshimachi and Sakura Miko. Sometimes she will feature Fubuki and Watame for streams of Monster Hunter.

When Gen 4 of Hololive debuted, Luna and Flare would often collaborate in Minecraft streams.

A half-elf who seems sloppy and undependable, however when it is time, she becomes an extremely reliable big sis.

She is basically kind of drained. Her weakness is her emotions and she cries or gets embarrassed quite easily (Just praise her!). The fairy-like creature that looks like a panda is named “Kintsuba".
