Fried Chili Cheese Dogs (often abbreviated as FCCD) is an American YouTube channel known for their absurdist comedy videos. The channel is run by Bobby Crawford, who co-founded the channel in 2007 with his friend Brandon Kinzer.

In late 2018, the channel deleted all of its videos, and Bobby Crawford announced that he was moving on from the channel to focus on his Christian faith.[1] However, in March 2023, the channel returned with the video "The Big Announcement - FCCD".[2] The channel has since reuploaded edited versions of its old videos and is currently making new content.

Their SpongeBob SquarePants plush videos in particular have became their most famous. The unedited versions of their old videos (prior to May 2019) have mostly been reuploaded by other users, but some of their earlier content is now considered to be lost media.

Information might not be accurate, as the original uploads of their videos prior to May 2019 were deleted.

The channel uploaded its first video, just titled "Fried Chili Cheeze Dogs" on July 9, 2008. It consisted of footage of a young Bobby Crawford and Brandon Kinzer doing random things (mainly comedy skits).

Years later, the channel gained many new subscribers from its SpongeBob Plush series. FCCD uploaded the first entry, SpongeBob SquarePants Cereal Commercial, on October 2, 2014.[3] This video and a couple of sequels made after it (Macaroni & Cheese,[4] Fruit Snacks,[5] and Everything[6]) would become very popular, mostly among kids.

The channel's last video before they made all of their videos private was "Dinosaur Camp", uploaded on May 28, 2018.[7]

Retirement[]

On around late 2018, they deleted all of their videos.[8] On May 8, 2019, the channel uploaded "Jesus healed my panic attacks!",[1] where Bobby explained that he suffered from panic attacks (mainly from marijuana). His panic attacks stopped after he said yes to the question "Bobby, do you believe in God?" This led him to dedicate most of his time to Christianity. Bobby was already a Christian before, but he decided to take his faith very seriously after this, and thus decided that his older videos (which sometimes had rude humor) didn't reflect his values anymore. He apologized for possibly offending anyone with his videos. The video has gained some positive acclaim from fans, expressing their best wishes for Bobby's future endeavors.

On July 31, 2022, YouTuber Chazington made a retrospective video on Fried Chili Cheese Dogs.[9] One of the FCCD members, Dom Milocco, has made a comment on the video on December 8 (which was later pinned), debunking the rumors of them falling out, and saying that they are still friends.[10][11] Another member, Jack Milocco, has also made a comment.[12]

Unexpectedly, on January 23, 2023, the Fried Chili Cheese Dogs channel (most likely Bobby) has also commented on one of Chazington's old and lesser-known videos "Anime rumble episode 3".[13] Chaz managed to get a conversation with Bobby, and has said that "big things are happening".[14]

Chazington uploaded a video "To the fans of Fried Chili Cheese Dogs." on February 1, with him making and throwing an actual chili cheese dog into the lake, getting a message in a bottle, and a overlay of the FCCD logo with the date of "2023, March 3rd" appearing.[15] On that aforementioned date, FCCD uploaded "The Big Announcement - FCCD", officially announcing that they're back.[2] They started to reupload old videos, though with minor changes (e.g. removing the jokes where the characters are sniffing powder as if it was cocaine).

Fried Chili Cheese Dogs uploaded their first original comedy skit since 2018, "Rocket Skateboard", on March 1, 2024.[16]
