Leslie Ann Fu (born: November 23, 1992citation needed], better known online as fuslie (pronounced "fooz-ly"), is an American[citation needed] YouTuber and former Twitch streamer known for her gameplay on Grand Theft Auto V roleplay, League of Legends, Valorant, Among Us, Gartic Phone, Suika Game, and other games.

Fuslie has Chinese parents in the San Francisco Bay Area where she grew up. She attended Homestead High School in Cupertino, California. In 2014, she would graduate from the University of California, Irvine, earning a bachelor's degree in biological sciences. She had attended graduate college in the University of California, Los Angeles before dropping out to pursue streaming full-time.[1]
In April 2019, Fuslie and fellow livestreamer Edison Park became a couple after dating for 3 years, but later broke up in 2021.[2]

YouTube career[]
Fuslie created her YouTube channel on August 7, 2015, where she would begin uploading vlogs and music videos. Her first video, titled "VLOG -1- LCS SEMIFINALS + BDAY FUN - august 15, 2015", was uploaded on August 15, 2015.
Twitch career[]
She began Twitch streaming on February 21, 2015, and became partnered on September of 2015. After dropping out of college, she began streaming full-time in 2016.[citation needed]
In December 2018, Fuslie and fellow Twitch streamer BoxBox hosted a 4-day streaming boot camp known as "Streamer Camp" on Twitch, an event aimed at improving the skills of up-and-coming streamers and content creators alike. A second season of the event was held in June 2019[3], and the 2020 season of the camp was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[citation needed]
On December 2, 2019, Fuslie held a charity stream for the program Stand Up to Cancer[4], with her and her viewers raising over $30,000 by the time it ended. On May 12, 2021, she had joined gaming organization 100 Thieves as a content creator.[5]
On September 6, 2022, Fuslie announced on YouTube and Twitter that she would stop streaming on Twitch and begin livestream on YouTube.[6][7] Her first YouTube livestream would be broadcasted the next day.[8]

In roleplay GTA V, Fuslie has a game character and alter ego which is a virtual musical artist named "April Fooze", which has made her well known among the roleplay GTA V community and in her audience. "April Fooze" is most likely a pun based on April Fool's Day and Fuslie's last name, Fu, and her profession as a musical artist is also reminiscent of Fuslie's covers.[citation needed]
Music career[]
On February 18, 2021, Fuslie along with Drew.0 released an animation song titled "Sabotage" (2021) which was about Among Us[9], and was featured in Harris Heller's "What If" (2021) two days later, on February 20.[10]
On August 12, 2021, Fuslie had gained 1 million followers on Twitch[11] and was also featured in Bella Poarch's music video "Inferno" (2021) with other fellow streamers, including Valkyrae, Pokimane, and Sykkuno.[12] She has also done covers of various musical artists on her YouTube channel, such as Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" (1961)[13], WHAM!'s "Last Christmas" (1984)[14] (which she also performed on one of QTCinderella's A Christmas Concert)[15], and Justin Bieber's "Ghost" (2021).[16]
