Mana Futakuchi (born: 7 November)^{[citation needed]} is an independent Japanese^{[citation needed]} VTuber.

Content

Mana's debut was live-streamed on January 4, 2021, and her first song cover was of Megitsune - BABYMETAL. She is mostly known for singing metal covers of popular trending J-Pop songs, having also produced metal covers of Ussewa - Ado, Kanaria - KING and Inkya Impulse - Asobi Asobase. She also made piano covers of the Tokyo Ghoul's 1st season opening, Unravel by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure.^{[citation needed]}

She also hosts educational streams and once held a stream where she taught languages, as well as answer Q&As on Marshmallow. She also likes to host chatting streams.^{[citation needed]}

A large portion of her videos are shorts and shitposts that are relevant to Western meme culture, such as DaBaby, rickrolling, Amogus, and Kabuki Yooooo.

Controversy

Statements about Ukraine

When Russia invaded Ukraine, Mana made a number of tweets where she criticized Ukraine and called them "Nazis" (even though the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is Jewish and lost his family in the Holocaust). She also called for the dismantling of NATO, which would allow Putin to invade more countries.

She called Zelensky a Nazi for using a symbol that represented the Ukrainian armed forces. In another tweet she also accused Zelensky of "egging to start a nuclear war".
