Gatorade is an American line of sports drinks owned by PepsiCo.[1]
History[]
Gatorade was first introduced in 1965 in the United States.[2] Gatorade got its name derived from the nickname of the University of Florida's sports team, which is the Florida Gators.[3]
As of 2025, the brand is current distributed in over 80 countries.[4]
Channel[]
Gatorade's YouTube channel was created on July 1, 2006,[5] and their first video was uploaded on June 13, 2010.[6] The channel's content contains videos such as commercials about their products,[7] videos featuring athletes,[8] fan shout-outs,[9] Women in Sports,[10] and At-home training.[11]
