George Arthur Clarke[1] (born: December 3, 1999 (1999-12-03) [age 26])[2], better known online as George Clarkey, is an English[3] YouTuber, TikToker and Twitch streamer, best known for his funny commentary & reaction videos about trending topics. He has co-hosted the popular podcast The Useless Hotline Podcast.[4]

Early Life[]

George was born in Bristol, England.[3] George studied Sports and Exercise Science at University of Exeter.[3]

Career[]

George became a global sensation after posting on TikTok. When he first posting on TikTok by the end of 2019, he got 5 million views in just the first 2 days.[5]

In June 2022, George posted a clip set to a track by Harry Styles. In April 2023, he collaborated with Nick and Joe Jonas for a TikTok video. It showed him asking them questions on British slangs.[5]

Best known for his situational comedy clips, commentary, viral trend videos, reaction videos, and POV jokes, he has, over the years, gained millions of fans on his TikTok account, georgeclarkeey. One of his best-known clips was a reaction video showing him reacting to a fake news article. It went viral and fetched him more than 2 million views in no time.[5]

His self-titled YouTube channel too has gained thousands of subscribers. A lot of his content is about his family and his life as a student.[6]

In Summer 2021 - early 2022, he consisted of many different genres including gaming, reaction and others. These videos came to a hault in January 2022. However in August 2022 he began uploading collaboration videos with his friend and fellow YouTuber ImAllexx.[6] During 2022-2023, Clarke made various videos as a part of the YouTube group "Chaos Crew", consisting of Clarke, Arthur Frederick, Alex Elmslie, Arthur Hill, Cam Kirkham and Lewis Buchan.[6]

George has been in multiple Sidemen videos such as Sidemen's Got Talent: YouTuber Edition, KSI and W2S Control The Sidemen for a Day, Sidemen YouTuber Pub Quiz and Sidemen YouTuber Drunk Bingo.[7][8][9][10]

He has also been a co-host of a podcast named The Useless Hotline Podcast with Max Balegde. The podcast made it to number 1 on the UK charts within the first week of its launch.[4]

On March 8, 2025, George participated in the 2025 Sidemen Charity Match, held at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, this time playing for team Sidemen F.C. He managed to score a goal in the 89th minute.[11] Later that month, George appeared as a contestant in the Sidemen reality competition series Inside. He was in the show for seven days and came in 5th place.[12]

In August 2025, Clarke was announced a contestant on the twenty-third series of Strictly Come Dancing.[13] He was partnered with American professional dancer and choreographer Alexis Warr.[14]

Personal life[]

George has a sister called Emily Clarke.[15]

George's mother was diagnosed with encephalitis.[2] In June 2024, he participated in a Tough Mudder marathon to raise funds for The Encephalitis Society.[16]

In 2023, George currently lives with English YouTubers Arthur Hill and ChrisMD.[17]

In September 2025, George announced he was in a relationship with TikToker Yasmin Bennett.[18]
