Dorian Brent Foyil Jr. (born: January 26, 1992), better known online as GhettoASMR (formerly KingGhettoASMR and THEPHILLYEAGLESSHOW), is a Bahamian content creator and former YouTuber. His channels were known for uploading ASMR videos and live streams with fast tapping and lo-fi styles.
History[]
Background[]
Dorian Foyil was born on January 26, 1992 in Nassau, Bahamas.[1] He lived there until his family moved to Newtown, Pennsylvania for high school when he was 14. His parents later separated and he chose to stay with his mother while his father moved to Florida and pursued a music career. He claims that his father was physically and mentally abusive, from calling him names to spanking him just because he left his toys out on the floor. On May 10, 2006, he made his first YouTube channel, called DORIANDRUMS, where he uploaded videos of himself drumming. Another channel, called owntontape, was made on the 1st of August 2008 but only features three videos. He became a drum teacher when he was 16 but later quit this job. Dorian and his friends also started making skits on the channel BlackWaterMovies. They stopped uploading after they graduated High School in 2011.
Not much is known about Dorian after graduating before he started making ASMR videos in 2015-2016. He promoted his early videos on Reddit, mainly the r/ASMR subreddit and sometimes the subreddit dedicated to the Philadelphia Eagles sports team. Around this time, he also created short films along with his friends on the channel EastCoastRips. It is unknown if these are the same friends that he made videos with on BlackWaterMovies.[2]
Channel terminations[]
On June 29, 2021, Dorian would upload a unlisted video of himself masturbating on camera which he could send to a woman he was sexually harassing on Discord. This would ultimately lead to his channel of 10 years and 7 years of content to be terminated off of YouTube. The channel had 128,000 subscribers before it's deletion.
Dorian would move to the EastCoastRips channel and upload videos from there while his old videos on the channel were set to private. When he was asked why he was suspended, Dorian would say that "internet trolls abused the report system" to take down his first channel. Despite the clear TOS violations, including the NSFW video.[3]
On July 7, 2022, Ghetto's second channel was suspended mainly due to ban evading and harassment, with one example being in a thumbnail where he depicts Jojo as a stuffed deer head and another case in an live stream VOD where he makes threats of violence towards Jojo and his fans. The channel previously had 12,000 subscribers before its deletion. He then went back to 2 of his old channels, DORIANDRUMS and Eating Empires ASMR, changing the username and avatars.[4] Strangely, he left the Eating Empire ASMR channel half done and abandoned it, making it the only remaining channel he has.
On July 12, his third channel, which was formerly DORIANDRUMS, was suspended due to ban evading. Only a few days after his previous channel was suspended.
On August 9, despite the previous bans and him stating that he was done with YouTube, he made a new channel in another attempt to return to YouTube. This channel was terminated on September 14 due to ban evading.
On September 18, he created his fifth channel and uploaded 4 short videos where he hides his identity by wearing a leopard print mask (Which he wore in multiple videos he uploaded on his second channel). 3 days later he changed the channel's name to the traditional GhettoASMR brand and stated that won't monetize the channel. This channel was suspended a month later due to ban evading.
On October 12, he would come back under the name "TappingTinglesASMR" and made short ASMR videos which were his usual fast tapping, mouth sounds and beatboxing videos. After people found out it was him (Likely because he didn't make a good amount of effort to hide that it was him i.e. His very noticeable Eagles tattoo on his arm) he deleted all the videos. This channel was suspended on November 7th after he tried to make a comeback with the GhettoASMR name. This was his 6th account.
In early November, he made a new account called "DorianFoyilASMR" which was suspended on November 29th, this was his 7th account.
In January 2023, he made yet another account, this time not uploading videos on it and only commenting on videos about him. This channel, like all of his other channels, was suspended, as of May 2023, this was his final channel.
Ever since then, he has made multiple channels trying to come back on YouTube but all of them have been suspended.
Move to other platforms[]
Shortly after his second YouTube account got banned, Dorian made several videos on his TikTok account, which existed since April, appealing to his followers to email YouTube and ask them to unban his channel, he then accuses YouTube of "being corrupt" and "working with the trolls".
He made a Twitch account and started to stream on there where he angrily rants about his suspensions and "trolls", accused Jojo of being a pedophile and fabricating the leaked DMs of him attempting to groom a 14 year old and used the r-slur multiple times through the stream, which is against Twitch's TOS.
One day after his announcement of leaving YouTube, Dorian announced that he was also leaving TikTok because it "allowed trolls to take down his videos and it's corrupt". Despite this, he immediately posted multiple videos accusing mainly Jojo and other big ASMR creators of using bots and "Python coding" to get high amounts of subs and views. These videos were barely backed up and poorly received. After this, he started using TikTok again where he started to post videos related to religion and rants mixed in with actual ASMR content.
On August 4, Dorian's account was banned on TikTok. This was likely people reporting videos he made a day before where he insults other countries such as Australia and the UK, told Asians to not watch his videos and multiple videos of him ranting about women "not showing him love" and that "they were born to love him".
On August 6, he made an Instagram account titled theghettoasmrofficial but deleted 2 months later.
On October 8, he would make a Patreon and a OnlyFans account. Dorian's critics criticized his move to both platforms, seeing his Patreon as a way to leech off people's money (The lowest priced tier was $20 while the most expensive one was $200) and his OnlyFans as another way of trying to attract women.
A month later, Dorian would delete his Patreon account due to dwindling contributors but made another one a few months later. He also deleted his OnlyFans account so he could focus on ASMR content.
Content[]
Dorian was known for making videos and live streams with a main focus on fast tapping for relaxation and sleep. He would also produce lo-fi content in which he uses different types of instruments (Mainly a glass bottle of cologne, a water bottle or book). The lengths of his videos span 20 to 40 minutes and his live streams last between 1-4 hours. Dorian has also released albums with different types of genres, such as techno and rap.
Dorian also frequently live streamed, sometimes multiple in a day. These usually lasted from 40 minutes to 4 hours long. Dorian sometimes archived the streams and made them viewable to his audience who didn't get to see it, though this depends on how the stream went. He would unlist streams where anything Dorian has said or done that could be used against him (Raged, said something misogynistic, pedophile allegations brought up etc.). Most unlisted streams involved him ending off by complaining about his unsuccessful love-life, his desire to start a family, or raging at his audience.
In May 2017, Dorian uploaded a video titled "FASTEST ASMR TAPPING" which he showed off that his years of drumming had increased his finger speed, allowing him to tap fast. This video was the 2nd most viewed on his first channel before it was suspended.
In February 2020, a video titled "ASMR for the deaf" was uploaded. The video was meant to help people who were deaf/hard of hearing experience ASMR. Like his fast tapping video, this one also blew up and was actually the most viewed video on his channel before his suspension.
Controversies[]
Collaborations drama[]
In 2018, Dorian uploaded and then swiftly deleted a video which was a direct attack at NiteshiftASMR, MarnoASMR and ASMRCast. Dorian was angry at them over them not wanting to collaborate with him. It's important to note that at this time for ASMRCast, his studio was flooded and was being repaired, which meant he couldn't do ASMR videos for the time. Once ASMRCast was notified of the video, he made a post on Reddit detailing his experience and what to do about it. [5] Ghetto later entered the thread under the account FijiFlow where he criticized Cast for ignoring him. After this incident, people wanted Ghetto banned and as a result, Ghetto tried to defend himself with another account.[6]
This incident didn't seem to effect Ghetto all that much, as it was sooner forgotten about. Ghetto still collaborated with other ASMR YouTubers after this, with his collab with Queen Of Tapping being the last.
Live streams[]
Beginning in late 2020, Dorian started to threaten people who made fun of him on his live streams, such as saying he'll beat them up and even wishing for his haters to die of the COVID-19 virus. He's also been strongly criticized for begging for donations via superchat or PayPal and attempting to lure female viewers. Dorian has also made fun of other YouTubers as well, such as when he called Jojo's ASMR a "pretentious p*ssy".[7]
In some cases he displayed more aggressive tendencies, such as yelling, punching, and self harm (i.e. Slapping himself) and even showing off a bladed weapon and threatening to put it through someone's chest. For example, one clip where he punches a drum and slams it down while yelling over a girl finding someone else more attractive than him[8] and another where he slaps himself over not getting donations.[9] Many of these clips would be put into compilation videos by several YouTubers, such as LaChefSki, Rubeus Hagrid, Crazed Monkey and GhettoASMR Rage. The first two whose main accounts have been banned due to Ghetto abusing the copyright system.
Sexting of minors[]
Starting around the end of January 2021, Dorian would be exposed for sexting a 17 year old girl. Several screenshots would be posted online which show Dorian talking to her in a sexual manner.[10] One notable example from the texts was when the girl opened up about her mental illness and struggles in life, to which Dorian said he could cure it by having sex with her and letting her swallow his semen.[11] He would also talk about more inappropriate topics, such as rating the size of his penis, masturbation and asking for suggestive pictures and even nudes from the teenager for his birthday. Many YouTubers and fans would be heavily appalled by Dorian for abusing his power, some people defended Dorian by either pointing out while it was questionable, nothing illegal happened as they both lived in areas where the age of consent was 16 or outright denying the screenshots and calling them "fake".
In February, Dorian would go on a Discord call with Jojo and the girl to discuss the texts. During the call, Dorian confirmed the messages, but said he wasn't aware of the girl's age and then accused Jojo of attacking him and setting him up, despite the girl saying she told him her age in the texts.[12]
In October, he was again caught sexting one of his fans, a 17 year old transgender boy, in where he asked sexual questions about the boy's relationship and if they could have a threesome, and asking if they could have a future together, unlike the first case, this didn't receive that much attention from people outside of the controversy. In the same month, he said on a live stream that he wanted a girlfriend as young as 16, when he was confronted about this, he said that the age of consent in Pennsylvania was 16. A similar statement was said in the chatlogs to the 17 year old transgender boy, where he claims that most girls his age have "played" him and wonders if he needs someone younger.
In January 2022, a video, now deleted, was uploaded where it shows a conversation someone had with a schizophrenic 17 year old girl from Lithuania which Dorian had apparently groomed and took advantage of to receive nudes of her, send nudes to her and act like they were in a long distance relationship.
On June 21, 2022, DMs leaked which show Ghetto (under a different pseudonym called Mophead) asking a 14 year old girl for nudes and other predatory messages. Even going as far to lie about his age when the girl asks how old he is, claiming to be 17 but immediately backtracking once the girl confronts him about this, and saying that he wishes that the girl was with him, but she needed to be 16. He also sent a nude and a video of himself masturbating and a graphic message of what he would do with her if she was with him. [13] As backlash, Jojo made a third and final video[14] where he goes over the recent leaked DMs. After this, Ghetto was bombarded with dislikes and comments telling him to own up to the accusations, instead of doing so, he would delete any negative comment and made another diss track on Jojo. In now deleted community posts, Ghetto argues that the conversations were fake and were sockpuppet accounts of Jojo's and other trolls to make him look bad, despite not having any evidence which supports his point. In another community post, he calls Jojo a "sanpaku eyed freak", which some considered to be racist due to Jojo's Japanese background.[15]
Treatment of women[]
On his last few channels, Dorian was known for his weird and borderline predatory behaviour towards fans who were women, Dorian started using his channel as a way to scout and lure in women and girls to possibly date or hook up with in early 2021. He was shown to get easily upset and angry towards women, as in one example, he screams at a woman who wouldn't give him her number. He has also shown misogynistic behaviour as in one video where he found out that one of his friends didn't like him in a romantic way, he told her to remove him as a friend while sending her graphic sexual messages about her. He also tends to call female viewers "lionesses" even if they were new to watching his channel. He also interacted with female viewers more, hearting their comments shortly after commenting and going as far to make them moderator on his streams even if they were new.
Throughout spring, DMs were leaked of him talking to girls, with the youngest being 17 and the oldest being 23. One video showed him harassing a 19 year old girl asking for nudes and telling her to visit him, as she lived in Canada. Another series of videos detail how he was planning to meet up with the 23 year old woman to have sex with her, only for her to reveal that she was working with the trolls, she also tried to set him straight and get his act together and acknowledge the sexting but he refused to, hanging up the call.
On June 4th 2022, Ghetto posted a topless selfie of himself flexing and a poll asking if he should start accepting "girlfriend applications", with all of the options being different but egotistical versions of "yes" with no proper way to say "No". He then announced that he was accepting them via his email. He later deleted the post and his whole community tab due to the criticism he received. He later said on a stream 2 days later that he was still accepting them.[16]

- Dorian is of Jewish faith and has used Jewish books as tapping instruments sometimes and also wears a Star of David necklace in some videos, he is also spiritual.
- He started drumming when he was 12 and claims that it's where he got his fast tapping ability from.
- Dorian had made multiple Discord servers from March 2021 to January 2023. One of which was a private server only for channel members but it's invite code got leaked.
- Dorian has never had a girlfriend before.
- Dorian won a trophy for best MVP from the Bahamas Youth Football League in 1999, when he was 7.
- Dorian's father, Dorian Brent Foyil Sr., is a member of a pop rock band called Aliens Don't Ring Doorbells.[17]
- He is a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
- He has a brother who works in accounting.
- Ghetto has said multiple times he is looking at apartments to rent in the Philadelphia area but as of 2023, he still lives with his mother, likely because he can't afford to rent an apartment due to his financial situation.
