Levy Rozman[1] (born: December 5, 1995 (1995-12-05) [age 29]), better known online as GothamChess, is an American[3] YouTuber and professional chess master who mostly commentates on chess on YouTube, and sometimes teaches people how to play chess and gives tutorials about chess.

Levy Rozman lived in both New York and New Jersey growing up. He started playing chess when he was 6 and entered his first tournament at the age of 7. Levy Rozman created his channel on August 6, 2018 and posted his first video, which was "Daniel Naroditsky's Immortal Game HIKARU" (which later renamed to "GothamChess 1st Video").

Levy Rozman began playing chess when he was 6 and entered his very first tournament at the age of 7. He is best known for his YouTube channel for commentaries about chess (especially commentaries about Magnus Carlsen) and chess tutorials. He became a Scholastic chess coach in 2014 and started a charity fund called the Levy Rozman charity fund. His favorite opening is the Caro-Kan defence[4], which is responding to e4 with c6 (algebraic chess notation). He is currently world rank number 3628 counting only active players and 6812 counting inactive players. His elo rating in the 3 categories are:
