Gumbino is an American pixel-style animator known for creating animated parodies about popular video games and series, similar to Dorkly.
Overview[]
Gumbino is an animator that creates pixel animations, which revolve of pixelated sprites and scenarios. Because of that, most of his animations revolve around games with pixelated graphics such as Pókemon FireRed and Super Mario Bros, most likely because they are easier to animate. Even through his parodies revolve around children's game, they usually contain mature content such as swearing and murder.
On his animations, the parodied characters tend to be way more humorous and villainous than their original counterparts (eg. Mario, Ash Ketchum, Detective Pikachu, Goku, etc.), constantly telling jokes, making fun of logic and committing crimes without hesitation, currently he is doing a YouTube Shorts series about Ash becoming omnipotent.
Gumbino is currently working on a game called ParaDoxo.
Series[]
What REALLY Happens in Pokemon[]
One of Gumbino's most popular series is "What REALLY Happens in Pokemon". It is a more humorous and abridged version of the PokƩmon anime.
The series revolves around Ash Ketchum, an evil version of Ash who stole Professor Oak's Pikachu and ever since then, forces him into battles and seeks to capture every single Pokemon along with Brock and Misty. The series also features Squirtle as the main antagonist who wants to destroy Humanity, and Gary as the hero who wants to stop Squirtle and rescue Pikachu from Ash Ketchum.
If Pokemon Trainers were in...[]
Gumbino's first series in the channel was the "If Pokemon Trainers were in" series. In every episode of this series, Red, Gold, Brendan and Ash end up in another dimension while still thinking they are in the Pokemon world. Because of that, they do things such as trying to catch animals and treating people like NPCs.
Video Game Competition[]
"Video Game Competition" is Gumbino's last series. It is a fictional reality show where several Video Game characters have to compete in order to get a prize. Unlike other reality shows, the viewers are the ones who decide who gets eliminated through a public poll.
GumbinoBlue[]
On May 26, 2018, Gumbino created a new channel called "GumbinoBlue". The channel has the same content as the main one: animated parodies about popular stuff, but without voices and with different animators. Most of the animations on GumbinoBlue are about how video game characters would act if they were in other games.
