Due to his alt-right behaviour, Miller was banned on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, DLive and Facebook.

Paul Nicholas Miller was born in New York on August 11, 1988. His father is of Romani descent and his mother is Mexican.

At the age of 20, Miller began his Muay Thai training activities; in 2008 he had his first amateur fight after only 3 months, training with 9 Weapons Muay Thai and later The Institute. He would later become a trainer and a coach for The Institute after a car accident impaired his abilty to fight professionally. Despite his short career, he became the Regional Light-Heavyweight Champion and the US National Champion in the World Kickboxing Association.

In the backdrop of some of videos, Nazi flags and armor brandishing Swastikas can be seen. He has made many remarks where he denied the Holocaust[2][3][4].

Miller has also stated that black people should be "sent back to Africa", he has been described as being a white nationalist and expressed a desire for a civil war[5].

Ties with white supremacists[]

On October 12 2018, during his independent journalist career, Paul attempted to attend an event hosted by white supremacist group The Proud Boys so he could write about what happened. However, he was denied entrance due to not having a ticket. As Paul was walking home, a few teenagers alleged to be be antifascists saw him walking away from the event and mistook him as being an affiliate of the The Proud Boys. The alleged antifascists assaulted him, but two actual Proud Boys members came to Paul's rescue. Later he would state he had no ties to any of the groups[6].

Quotes[]

  • "Ni-"[7]
  • "Ready? How about a magic trick?"
  • "Pick a card..."
  • "They went to my mother's house thinking I lived there"

  • “My family has suffered enough, I don’t want to make anyone suffer anymore”

Legal issues[]

Doxxing and raids[]

Due to his behaviour online he was doxxed, which led to him being assaulted by alleged antifascists [8][9]. His mother was allegedly doxxed as well. He would later be targeted by Neo-Nazi group Atomwaffen Division, which forced him to temporarily leave his residence. Atomwaffen Division justified their actions by saying Paul was giving white supremacists a bad name[10].

Arrest[]

On March 2, 2021 Miller was arrested on three different charges. Reports stated that flashbangs went off during a raid of Miller's Fort Lauderdale residency, which took place at around 5 in the morning.

The cause of the arrest was an incident that took place on January 17, 2018 in which Miller illegally possessed a gun, a charge of which was later indicted of on February 25, 2021. During his first hearing on March 3, Paul offered up an apology claiming "I'm really sorry for all of this. I really am." and told the judge that he has enough money to hire his own attorney. Some alleged Paul reached out Mark O'Mara, the attorney who worked for George Zimmerman, but in actuality later hired free speech activist and attorney Norman Kent.

He was denied bail a week later and was to remain incarcerated while on trial. On June 22, 2021, Miller pleaded guilty to one count each of possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of an unregistered firearm, and on September 28, he was sentenced to 41 months' imprisonment followed by three years' supervised release.

After serving 16 months, he was released from prison on good behavior and with supervised release on January 31, 2023. Several days afterwards, he was brought back into custody after it was revealed he had been using the internet to sell racist paraphernalia and harass people in prison. Following this, he was released on the July 2 of the same year.

Trivia[]

  • Many viewers joke that Paul is the real life Arthur Fleck from Joker (2019). This is partially because Paul would often dress up as the Joker in his omegle streams, and also due to many other similarities with the titular character of the movie[11].
    • Paul was sent to jail, yet the alleged antifascists who beat him weren't. Some viewers drew parallels as to how Arthur Fleck was assaulted by juvenile delinquents at the start of the movie, yet they were never arrested and he was.
    • As Paul was arrested on March 2, 2021, the journalist who was reporting on the events was named Joan Murray[12]. In Joker, Arthur is antagonized by talk show host Murray Franklin.
    • Paul is of Mexican descent. Arthur Fleck is played Joaquin Phoenix, who is Venzuelan. He also has a similar voice to Phoenix's Joker.
  • In the span of his kickboxing career, Paul has had a total of 14 fights - he won 7 and has lost 7.
