History, stylized as HISTORY (formerly The History Channel), is an American history-based pay television network that is owned by A&E Networks, a joint venture between Hearst Communications and the Disney Media Networks division of the Walt Disney Company. In addition to its own flagship channel, History provides sister channels such as History en Español (Spanish language), Military History, and History TV18.
