Christopher Burton, better known online as Half-Asleep Chris, is an English YouTuber known for his stop-motion/vlogging videos about LEGO, culture and building his cats crazy contraptions.

Half-Asleep Chris' channel consists of vlogging videos about various cultures using a stop-motion technique. He has a series on banknotes, as well as doing videos with his cats. He also does videos making projects out of lots of LEGO, like a train circling his house, or a roller coaster that reached to the top of his ceiling.

Reggie[]
The first cat he owned was named Reggie. Reggie was a ginger male cat who sadly passed away due to a blood clot after living for 9 years.
Ralph and Tom Hanks[]
He then adopted a pair of kittens (Ralph and Tom Hanks, though he calls them by their first name) from Thames Valley Animal Welfare. One year later Tom died due to unknown reasons, but Ralph has made new friends and still misses Tom.
Bella[]
Chris now lives away from his parents and with Ralph, his girlfriend, Danielle Middleton, and Danielle's cat, Bella, who is basically an old lady in cat years.
Maisie[]
Maisie is Chris's new dog, she loves carrots and had a train ride[2], even though Chris never wanted to have a dog,

- Prior to using his current channel, Chris used to post music on his channel Half-Asleep Music.
- He has done a "Guessing the Designs of the Australian A-Z coins with J.J. McCullough.
- As stated on his first video, his favorite animal is the tapir.
- He first gained popularity after creating the Golden Gate Bridge for his cat, Reggie, on May 18, 2018. Reggie however passed away on August 17 the same year.
- Chris gained more popularity in April 2021 after building a LEGO train that circled around his entire house.
- He has a degree in music production.
- He brought land in Hougan Manor Estate, Cumbria, England, and legally made his cats into a lord and lady.
- He used to work in a travel money bureau, before becoming a full-time YouTuber.
- His bares a very similar resemblance to that of Grian.

- Chris made a video for promoting his Relph and Bella plushies in around November 2021 and in 2022, but after the second campaign featuring Lord Ralph and Lord Bella, Chris removed the original video from his YouTube channel and the full video became lost media, but clips of it were uploaded.[4][5]
- He moved twice, with his first-known home being in his parents' house (until 2020), the second his first house (2020-2022), and the third being his current house (since 2022).
