Willie Junior Maxwell II (born: June 7, 1991 (1991-06-07) [age 34]), better known professionally as Harlem Fetty or Fetty Wap, is an American musician, rapper, and songwriter, who performs the genre of rap, hip hop, R&B, trap, and pop.

Since he began his career in 2013 he's released a total of two studio albums, including Fetty Wap, (2015), and King Zoo, (2021), one compilation album, which is RGF Island, Vol. 1 (with RGF), (2016), twelve mixtapes, which included Up Next (with DJ Louie Styles), (2014), Zoo Style (with DJ Louie Styles), (2015), Coke Zoo (with French Montana), (2015), Coke Zoo, (2016), Money, Hoes & Flows (with PnB Rock), (2016), Zoovier, (2016), For My Fans 2, (2017), For My Fans 3: The Final Chapter, (2018), Bruice Wayne, (2018), Trap & B, (2020), Big Zoovie, (2020), and You Know The Vibes, (2020), and two extended plays, which includes For My Fans, (2015), and Lucky No. 7, (2017).

Controversies[]

DUI[]

on November 2, 2017, At 1:20 AM, Fetty was pulled over on a Brooklyn highway and arrested, then he was charged with drunk driving, reckless endangerment, aggravated unlicensed driving of a car, illegally changing lanes and drag racing.[1]

Drug Dealing[]

On October 29, 2021, federal prosecutors unsealed an indictment against Fetty, charging him with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances, mainly Heroin, Cocaine and Fentanyl.[2] He was arrested at Citi Field in Queens, New York on federal drug charges. On November 5, 2021, Fetty was released on a $500K bond.[3][4] On August 8, 2022, He was then put back in jail again after he violated the terms of his pretrial release.[5] On August 22, 2022, he pleaded guilty to his drug charges,[6] on May 24, 2023, Fetty was sentenced to 6 years in prison in New York. He is currently imprisoned at FCI, Sandstone, which is a low-security prison in Sandstone, Minnesota.[7][8]

Airbnb Assault[]

On June 19, 2019, Fetty was under investigation for assaulting a woman at an Airbnb while recording for a music video. That incident also came with video proof where the female behind the camera tells the rapper to hit her again, he's not going to because she's gonna record it, but he confidently continues to assault her while being recorded.[9][10]

Abuse and Affair Allegations[]

On June 1, 2020, Fetty faced physical abuse allegations by his ex-wife, Leandra Gonzalez, who claimed he was abusive during their marriage and even got a tattoo of one of his alleged affairs on his wrist.[11]
