Harley Tatum (born: August 10, 2004 (2004-08-10) [age 17]), better known online as HarleyTBS, is an English YouTuber best known for their drama commentary videos.

Harley is a commentary YouTuber best known for their video's discussing popular drama in the commentary community, often revolving around artist's or other drama creators, especially larger creators (such as YouTubers like RedVelvety, JellyBean, and Sky Does Everything).

Harley's most successful video was released on September 3rd, 2021. This video was titled "These YouTube Ads Are INSANE." and discussed many examples of "unacceptable" YouTube ads Harley had discovered being broadcast on the website, which often broke YouTube's own terms of service and showed a double standard for what YouTube was willing to allow on their platform if they were being paid to broadcast it. This video reached 500,000 views on December 1st, 2021. This video was temporary taken down by YouTube due to a link to the art used in the thumbnail being included in Harley's credits, which YouTube incorrectly identified as explicit content, this strike was quickly removed and the video has remained on Harley's channel ever since.

Harley was called out in October of 2020 for their follow-up to a previous video on Pyrocynical, which seemed to imply that Harley had "flip-flopped" on their stance due to their change in opinion across those video's after Pyrocynical released a response. Harley apologized for these video's and amended their mistake.

Harley found themselves in their first major controversy in January of 2021, when a then popular YouTuber known as PrisonMateLuke made a video exposing an artist called Skelly Welly for claims that, at the time, lacked all of the evidence needed. Harley then criticised Luke, his at-the-time friend for making this video without that evidence and not choosing to wait until more evidence was compiled... Instead of accepting this criticism, Luke turned his focus to Harley and released three videos exposing Harley for a plethora of unjustified accusations, which Harley rebutted, with YouTubers like JUST A ROBOT and Just Stop stepping in to support Harley against these claims, which led to Harley's now removed (due to an agreement with Luke) video's in response, and a video Harley made focused on Lexet, providing the evidence needed to correctly expose her. PrisonMateLuke would later apologise for these videos, which Harley discussed in their video "Prison Mate Luke Apologised To Me"

Hopeless Peaches

In February of 2021, Harley followed up a previous video on the Hopeless Peaches drama with "The Hopeless Peaches Documentary", which aimed to set the record straight on claims spread about Hopeless Peaches made by PrisonMateLuke, CreepShow Art, Camila Cuevas, Omnia, The Hot Box and Prince kai. This video corrected much of the false claims spread around Peaches name, like the claim made by PrisonMateLuke that Peaches was "suicide baiting". This video alongside video's by SpyV, Just A Robot and other's helped in clearing Peaches name.

John Swan & Dream

Later in February, Harley found himself in the midst's of a controversy between John Swan and Dream due to a DM Harley received from John and LtCobra where they impersonated Dream for a "troll". Harley had notified Dream of this back in 2020, but it never went further until John started work on a video intended to criticise Dream, which led to Dream bringing up the subsequent impersonation attempt and calling John out on a live-stream entitled "Detective Dream", which led to both Harley and John's name trending worldwide and a large influx of support to Harley. John Swan would later admit he had lied about the validity of these claims and apologised.

CreepShow Art

Following the Hopeless Peaches documentary, in June of 2021, Harley discussed allegations against Creepshow Art of stalking Emily Artful for several years, alongside doxxing their trans sibling and running a secret lolcow account where they would insult many of their friends, use hateful language that went against the morals they presented on their channel and the subsequent excuses they used to justify this behaviour and clear their name. This drama is still ongoing, however, the general consensus is that Creepshow Art lied about the lolcow posts, due to evidence that their excuse that their "IP was spoofed" being disproven, and many people fall in favour of Emily Artful's side due to the overwhelming evidence to support the claims.

In June of 2021, Harley found themselves in a drama with SenpaiIsHome, a drama creator who had used racist language when responding to criticism from Prince kai and transphobic language, with SenpaiIsHome (also known as Sen) responding to a critical Tweet of him with the statement "stop lying and go figure out what identity you are today".

Kai Weiss & Omnia

Harley found themselves in a drama with Kai Weiss and Omnia in 2021, initially criticising Kai for some of the video's Kai had made on Hopeless Peaches with creator Omnia, Kai's behaviour and handling of criticism on Twitter, with Harley also criticising Omnia for using sprites from Hopeless Peaches video "I Dated A Child Groomer" as clickbait. This drama led to a long-standing back and forth which slowly dissipated after a call between Harley, Omnia and Kai Weiss.

Harley's drama with Kai Weiss reignited in November of 2021, when Kai Weiss would strike down a response to one of his video's on Akumu. Kai was criticised for this strike by John Swan and Harley, who raised issue with Kai striking down criticism, which Kai justified because Akumu had used a large portion of Kai's content within the video, however this point was refuted quite quickly when Harley looked into some of Kai's other video's and noticed he'd used an even larger portion of other's video's when criticising them before or responding to them. This drama ended with Kai deleting his presence online, however he would return in December after his romantic partner Omnia contacted Harley and other creator's alleging that Kai had abused them and deleted their social media platforms. Harley would then release a video discussing these allegations and sharing some of the evidence that supported these claims, leading to Kai responding publicly and alleging that Omnia had lied, though this allegation is still contested and the abuse allegations are being handled by a court.

Harley found themselves in a drama with Spete in January of 2022, after Spete threatened to sue Miss ZiZi for criticising him. Harley released a video discussing Spete's actions which led to Spete cutting his ties with Harley and bringing up resolved drama with Harley in a response to paint Harley in a worse narrative in an attempt to damage the criticism presented by Harley. Harley responded to these claims and it's largely agreed that Spete's response lacked any justified reason to be made and he should've accepted the criticism presented.
