High Times is an American monthly magazine based in Los Angeles that advocates the legalization of cannabis and other recreational drugs such as ayahuasca and psilocybin (shrooms). Alongside activism they also cover news on medical studies on said drugs, reviews of cannabis products, tips and tutorials for growing, and they are the official host of the Cannabis Cup, America's largest "cannabis show" where growers compete to see who has the best quality product in multiple categories.
High Times was founded by journalist and cannabis activist Tom Forcade in 1974, and is now one of the world's largest source of cannabis news. from its founding to 2016, High Times was published by Trans High Corporation (THC). Hightimes Holding Corp. took over both the magazine and parent company in 2017.
