Samuel Earney (born: January 17, 1989), better known online as IAmSp00n, is a former gaming YouTuber and Twitch livestreamer. He was a former member of the popular Minecraft Hermitcraft server. He was part of the server for seasons 1, 2, and 3. He would later quit YouTube in early 2019 to become a Twitch livestreamer. He was banned from Twitch on June 24, 2020 due to several sexual misconduct allegations.

He joined the server in August 2012 after meeting generikb and JoeHillsTSD at PlayOnCon. He would be active on the server from seasons 1 to 3. His time on the server would lead to several collaborations with other YouTubers such as xisumavoid and ZombieCleo.

Day 1[]
While exploring the world, Spoon fell and was trapped for 30+ minutes in the giant underground meatball in the "Chip was Here" area on the map, due to a forgotten land claim made by Technoblade. The area was unclaimed and he was eventually set free. He expressed a strong distaste about land protection to the developers afterward.
Day 5[]
Sp00n participated in the End Raid with CaraCorvus and CaptainSparklez infiltrating the Antartic Empire's base and entering the End via the Southern End Portal.
Day 6[]
Sp00n spent the day working on Arkansonia and checking out some ARG-related things.
He went to explore a seemingly meaningless cactus farm at x: 100 z: 100. There, he found a sand pillar underneath. Upon closer inspection, he found it led to a colossal amount of clay beneath the surface, which excited him as it would help him with the construction of his base. He returned to the surface, bid the farm farewell, and proclaimed, "Fuck Chip" before destroying the cactus farm.
