Ian Kung is an American YouTuber who does a bunch of short and comedic "how-to" videos.

Content[]

Kung launched his own YouTube channel on April 24 2006. When he did so, he nicknamed himself as "HappyAsianFellow", but didn't upload until March 31 2017. His first video was called "Asking Out Girls Using Facts About Trebuchets".

Kung mostly uploads various short "how-to" videos. In these videos, he shitposts and satirically and comedically makes these videos. These videos don't last longer than a minute. They only last for around 30 seconds. The longest one comedy short, which is entitled "CEO of Fidget Toy Company Reveals True Purpose of Spinners", lasts for 55 seconds.

Controversy[]

Ian makes many videos where he calls out people for being hypocrites, for example, in his Ukraine video, he called out people for caring about Ukrainian refugees but not refugees from other countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.

However, he himself was accused of being one due to claiming to be against misogyny in several videos, but making one with Gus Johnson in it, even though it was publicly known that Gus was abusive to his ex-girlfriend Sabrina by then. It didn't help that many former friends of Gus cut him off after learning of his behaviour, including his roommate, long-time collaboration partner, podcast co-host and best friend, Eddy Burback[1].
