It Gets Better Project (or simply It Gets Better) is an American non-profit organization that was founded on September 16, 2010, by Dan Savage and Terry Miller. The project is known for its goal, which is to prevent suicide among LGBT youth by having gay adults convey the message that these teens' lives will improve.
