Kat La[1] (born: October 31, 1995 (1995-10-31) [age 28]), better known online as ItsFunneh (also known as Funneh and by her Roblox username Funnehcake), is a Canadian gaming YouTuber known for playing Minecraft and Roblox and many other games with her siblings, collectively known as the KREW.

The KREW[]

Funneh is the founder of The KREW. The names of her sisters and brother are as follows (oldest to youngest):

Personal Life[2][]

In Kat's early life, she and her siblings with their parents lived in a small bungalow with two floors. The basement was always rented out so they cannot play in the basement. Her dad was a chef and her mom washed dishes at a local restaurant. Some nights their parents would eat very little, as they were broke at that time. She and her siblings got curious if a gummy pizza would expand, so they popped it in a microwave for a minute. As a result, it exploded all over the microwave. One day, their father brought home a used Fami-com Disk System that his boss gave him because the boss' daughter didn't want it anymore. She and her siblings enjoyed playing on it, but it broke shortly. However, they received another console, this time it being a Nintendo GameCube.

Kat was a shy artist during elementary school. She would carry her book everywhere and would draw things she found fascinating. In 2005, they moved houses because their parents wanted more space for them. She was excited and sad at that time. In their new school, she was described as a "weirdo" and "awkward". Her parents gave her an old digital camera, and with it, she would make funny skits and showed it to her family and cousins. She is the considered the little comedian of the family.

In 2008, Kat's parents bought a restaurant downtown, hoping that it would make more income for the family. The windows there would always get broken. She would work there on the weekends and sometimes on weekdays. The restaurant wasn't very successful, so their parents couldn't hire anyone and they would work for them. She and her siblings would sometimes watch YouTube, and it made her work less miserable. However, the restaurant made her depressed. At night, there would be arguments, fights, tears, and anger. Their biggest problem was debt and financial issues. Due to the state of the restaurant, business was slow, and after three years, the family sold the restaurant.

Her sister GoldenGlare suggested Kat to record videos on their channel again, but this time they would instead commentate and play games. Kat was scared to upload the video but Gold/Kim said to Kat that they should upload it.

Kat currently lives in Fort Mckay/Mackay, Alberta[3]. She and her siblings currently have 3 dogs (Alven, Dembe, and Reinhardt) and two cats (Kiaria and Ezera) and owns other consoles such as the PlayStation 4 pro[4], or the Nintendo Switch.[5]

History[]

Kat created her YouTube channel on September 1, 2011, and her first video has now been privated She used to create Minecraft mechanisms and parodies. The script was written by herself on her own in the school library. She stopped posting videos and temporarily quit YouTube.

Hacking incident[]

On February 16, 2023, Kat's YouTube channel was hijacked by a crypto scam ring posing as Elon Musk's company TESLA, where they privated all her videos and changed the name and logo to Tesla. They also hosted a scam livestream. Commentary YouTuber SharkBlox made a video regarding the situation, along with pointing out how these types of channel hijackings had been around since November 2019. He also made several statements in the video about how to protect your channel from being the target of sponsorship scams. A few hours later on that same day, she managed to restore her channel and everything is back to normal.[6][7]

Hi all, we’re back in ✌️ and we managed to relist all youtube videos manually. We’re messaging Team Youtube to see if community tab posts and membership can be restored properly, wish us luck. Thank you for all your support KF during a stressful time like this, we appreciate you sm.

Main article: MC Championship

MCC Pride 2021 was an event organised by the Noxcrew and sponsored by YouTube Gaming that took place on June 27, 2021, in order to raise money for the Trevor Project. Due to partnering with YouTube for the event, none of the creators involved were allowed to stream the event on Twitch. Due to their pre-existing contracts, many were unable to stream at all, but this did not impact the event.
