Jarvis Johnson (born: May 5, 1992 (1992-05-05) [age 28]), formerly VSympathyV, is an American YouTuber and a former engineering manager at Patreon.

He founded his YouTube channel on October 11, 2006, and got an education at Eastside High School between 2006 and 2010, then the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2014.

On September 2014, he became a software engineer at Yelp and then to a senior software engineer on July 2016, then to an engineering manager on April 2018 at Patreon.

Between August 23 and 25, 2018, he tamed the YouTube algorithm, because he went from 90,000 subscribers to 200,000. This was due to the fact that a bigger YouTuber, Cody Ko, uploaded a video about 5-Minute Crafts[1]. In this case, Cody indirectly helped Johnson gaining more recognition due to the fact that Johnson uploaded a rant video about the same channel.

Jarvis uploads comedy/entertainment videos, tech videos about his software engineering career and rants of channels that he doesn't like, including 5-Minute Crafts, Troom Troom, BRIGHT SIDE and animated storytime channels, like Share My Story and ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Sometimes, he uses these "Life Hacks" as a video idea, making videos trying to do said "Hacks". He even created a channel called "THEY ACTUALLY ANIMATED MY STORY" as a satirical parody channel mocking the forementioned storytime channels by creating exaggerated stories.

  • Every outro, Jarvis butchers somebody's name.
