Jarvis Johnson (born May 5, 1992), also known as Magicjarvis formerly VSympathyV, is an American YouTuber on YouTube and a former engineering manager at Patreon.
Biography
He founded his YouTube channel on October 11, 2006, and got an education at Eastside High School between 2006 and 2010, then the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2014.
On September 2014, he became a software engineer at Yelp and then to a senior software engineer on July 2016, then to an engineering manager on April 2018 at Patreon.
Between August 23 and 25, 2018, he tamed the YouTube algorithm, because he went from 90,000 subscribers to 200,000. This was due to the fact that a bigger YouTuber, Cody Ko, uploaded a video about 5-Minute Crafts[1]. In this case, Cody indirectly helped Johnson gaining more recognition due to the fact that Johnson uploaded a rant video about the same channel. That video did show up often in the recommendations of Cody's video since it was a pretty similar video.

Jarvis uploads real life tutorials, creating comedy/entertainment videos, tech videos about his software engineering career and rants of channels that he doesn't like, including 5-Minute Crafts, Troom Troom and BRIGHT SIDE. Sometimes he uses these "Life Hacks" as a video Idea.
