On April 25, 2014, Sanchez died of suicide by jumping in front of a train. She was only 13 years old when she died. The reason why Sanchez took her life was due to bullying. The police said that Sanchez was sitting on the tracks at the time of the incident. The conductor used his horn as a warning, but was not able to avoid collision. After she died, the bullying continued beyond her death. The YouTube video about herself telling a story about her bullying was posted on Reddit, leading to predictably reprehensible comments. Later, her family had established a fund to pay for her funeral expenses on GoFundMe.
