Jaden Ortiz (born December 18, 1998 (1998-12-18)), better known by his stage name Jay Eazy, is a Puerto Rican-American rapper. He's otherwise known for his songs that went viral on TikTok, for example "Tomioka" and "Mega Man".^{[citation needed]}

History

According to his bio, he started his rapping career in 2013. Though it is unknown if he had any prior tracks, his earliest track was available all the way back to December 12, 2017.

Meme status

Jay Eazy became somewhat of a celebrity on TikTok due to his posts on the platform and YouTube Shorts, often advertising his songs with footage of him running. One post in particular, advertising his song "Mega Man", became a meme in late 2023 after somebody made an edit auto-tuning his vocals to the song "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms" from Super Mario RPG. After that, people started to make YTPMVs out of the TikTok.^{[citation needed]}
