Jay (born: August 18, 2001), better known online as Jaykindafunny, is an American YouTuber who is recognized for posting controversial prank videos in YouTube Shorts.
History[]
Before Jay was famous, he began his career as a content creator on YouTube. One of his oldest archived videos titled "SAYING GOODBYE TO MY AIRFORCE FRIEND *emotional*" was posted in January 2019.[2]

Shopping cart prank[]
On December 28, 2020, Jay uploaded a video where he was arrested at a store for repeatedly crashing his shopping cart to a police officer's cart, which was supposed to be one of his many infamous "pranks". The officer later brought Jay to a police car, and Jay's friends arrived outside to show the prank video to the police but the police didn't care, putting him in the car before driving off.[3] However, Jay was later released after the situation, but has continued pranking people since.
Second Arrest[]
On March 19, 2022, Jay uploaded a short where he was arrested titled "Free Muñañyo 🙏🏾"[4], which shows two police officers arresting Jay and taking him into a Police Jeep. It is currently unconfirmed if this was due to one of his pranks, or how he was released.
