John Marwood Cleese (born: October 27, 1939), is an English actor and comedian mostly known for being part of the comedy group Monty Python.

Early life[]
Cleese was born in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England, United Kingdom, the only child of Reginald Francis Cleese and Muriel Evelyn Cleese (née Cross).[3]
History[]
Cleese met Graham Chapman at Cambridge University, where they were members of the school's footlight society.
A year later, Eric Idle joined the school, also joining the footlight society.
In New York City, he met Terry Gilliam.
In 1969, Cleese, Gilliam, Chapman, Idle, as well as Terry Jones and Michael Palin formed the group Monty Python.

Cleese created his channel on July 14, 2016,[1] and uploaded his first video on July 28, 2016, titled "John Cleese - Africa - Part One".[4]
On January 12, 2024, he uploaded his first short, titled "John Cleese Thirst Trap #funny #comedyshorts".[5]

- He was originally married to Connie Booth. He later remarried to Barbara Trentham, Alyce Eichelberger, and finally to Connie (in that order).
