Jonathan Gustian, better known online as Jonathan the fastest clippers, is a former Indonesian YouTuber who claimed to be the fastest stream clipper. Originally, his videos were mostly out-of-context clips of CDawgVA, but was forced to shift towards towards clips on his circle of friends after being called out in November 2021 due to various articles about his problematic behaviour behind-the-scenes.
His channel "has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted." as of November 2022, though the sources of the three copyright strikes are still unknown.
YouTube career[]
Jonathan's first clip was a short video of CDawgVA dancing in the Trash Taste studio. He then started to upload stream clips of the people surrounding CDawgVA, including Gigguk, The Anime Man, and Sydsnap. His clips gathered attention after he uploaded a clip of CDawgVA mentioning his channel name, ironically the clip ended before CDawgVA could finishing saying "we could copyright-".
After his channel was mentioned by CDawgVA, he expanded his clips to YouTubers CDawgVA collaborated with, including Ironmouse, Abroad in Japan, Tectone, Shibuya Kaho, Ludwig etc.
Community posts[]
Jonathan was notoriously known for massing spamming community posts with low effort captions such as:-
- hmmm
- lol
- Ok
- Bruh
- Wow
- Yes
- Yoo
- Damn
- 👀👀👀
In addition, majority of his community posts were either screenshots from CDawgVA, Gigguk, The Anime Man, or Sydsnap's Twitter or Instagram stories, or uncredited reposts from Anitrendz, Anime Senpai, Anime Corner and The Seiyuu Café.
