Jonny, better known online as JonnyBlox, is an American gaming YouTuber known for his Five Nights at Freddy's news and gameplay videos.

History

Shortly after Five Nights at Freddy's was released on August 8th, 2014, a friend of Jonny's introduced the game to him. This first sparked Jonny's interest in the series and he would be hooked on the franchise ever since. He also revealed he often had nightmares about the first game after its release.

Before the launch of the main "JonnyBlox" channel on May 25, 2017, Jonny would create his first YouTube channel named "Jonny_Blox." The original channel hosted Roblox content, with Jonny specifically recalling a Thanksgiving hide-and-seek special being uploaded to the channel. It seems the channel has since be deleted by Jonny. Before relaunching his YouTube career with Five Nights at Freddy's content, Jonny revealed he considered creating Minecraft or Fortnite content.

FNaF News:

JonnyBlox is most known for running very popular Five Nights at Freddy's news accounts across YouTube and Twitter / X. His news videos on his channel are some of his most-viewed content and he's often credited as the first source of news by other creators on YouTube like Sheeprampage and 3C Films. His news coverage on Five Nights at Freddy's began in 2017 and still continues to this day.

Fazbear's Fortune:

On February 24, 2022, Jonny announced his Five Nights at Freddy's-themed trivia show called "Fazbear's Fortune." Streamed live on his Twitch channel, the show involved 3 guests answering questions throughout two trivia boards in a similar format to Jeopardy. It appears the show concluded in March 2022, however, there does not appear to be any archives of the show.

Blox Talks Podcast:

The Blox Talks Podcast is a podcast series hosted by Jonny and 2 guests in which they discussed various Five Nights at Freddy's topics. Only 3 episodes of the podcast have been uploaded, with Jonny expressing the poor performance of the episodes leading to the few videos that were released. He does have a desire to continue the series, but noted several changes to the show would be made such as uploading them to his second channel and having the episodes be more one-on-one interviews with other creators.

The Fazzies:

Announced in July 2021, The Fazzies (stylized in all capitals) is an award show and celebration of the Five Nights at Freddy's community hosted by Jonny. The original announcement of the show was met with criticism, mainly on Twitter / X, which lead to the cancelation of the award show. On February 16, 2024, Jonny announced the revival of the show to honor the year of 2023. Jonny has expressed the reaction and support to the revival of the show has been very positive, and that he hopes to continue the show for future years.

Described as "your #1 place for FNaF News," this is Jonny's main channel which is dedicated to Five Nights at Freddy's content. News videos on the franchise, gameplay videos on its new video game releases, theories, and reactions to the Five Nights at Freddy's series are the main focus of the channel. The majority of the channel's content in its early years were playthroughs on Five Nights at Freddy's fangames, though Jonny has expressed a desire to upload fangame content to his second channel in the future.

JonnyBloxLIVE:

This is Jonny's second channel which has seen uploads on Poppy Playtime, Fortnite, Five Nights at Freddy's fangames, reactions, and merchandise unboxings. Jonny has said he'll upload whatever he feels like uploading to this channel, letting it take on the role of an outlet for Jonny to openly discuss his interests.

The Fazzies:

This is a YouTube channel dedicated to uploading highlight videos and the acceptance speeches of the winners of The Fazzies, a Five Nights at Freddy's-themed award show created and hosted by Jonny.
