Julien Zheng Zheng Kho Budorovits better known as Julien Bam (born November 23, 1988 (1988-11-23) in Aachen) is a German YouTuber of Singaporean origin. He is known for his dance videos and for the slow motion videos he uploads in collaboration with Cheng Loew on the channel FlyingPandas. Julien was a member of JuBaFilms. He makes videos as a dancer, singer, filmmaker, photographer and director. With Vincent Lee and Joon Kim, he runs the Bento Brothers channel which features "Behind the Scene" videos.

With 5,710,00 subscribers, he ranks 6th most subscribed YouTube channel in Germany. With 769,437,451 views, he ranks 38th most viewed YouTube channel in Germany.

General information

Julien (short for Ju) is half Singaporean, quarter Russian and quarter Czech. He speaks English, German and Mandarin (High Chinese).

Originally, he comes from Singapore. However, he lived in Aachen for a large part of his time. Later, he stayed with the ApeCrime's for 3 months, helping them shoot videos. Then he lived in a shared apartment with Vincent Lee and Joon Kim in the city of Cologne.

Now, since March 2017, he lives with his team (Annika, Jimmy, Vincent Lee and Marius) together in a house in the city of Aachen.

Besides dancing (breakdancing), which he often shows in his videos, his other hobbies are photography, filmography, acrobatics, drawing, magic, skating, fencing and singing. He can play guitar and piano and also played violin for 13 years.

He is often described by others as a "scattered dreamer," "always with his mind somewhere else." Vincent describes him as a "chaotic artist." His mother always described him as "angel and devil, both."

Justus Bumm

Cengiz from ApeCrime gave him the name "Justus Bumm". Sometimes he is also called "Bummse Biene". However, Julien himself says that he does not like to be called "Justus Bumm."

Channel history

Before his current channel "Julien Bam", Julien had 5 other channels that featured dance videos and card tricks, for example on the channel JuZhengLien. Later, together with Gong Bao and Michael Hilli, he opened the channel JuBaFilms, where they produced high-quality short films. JuBaFilms went on many trips, events and attended many workshops. However, the channel was discontinued due to a network. Then, he and Cheng Loew opened the FlyingPandas channel, where they produce slow-motion videos. However, the channel is now inactive as Ju and Cheng focus more on their own projects.

In the beginning, the channel "Julien Bam" featured dance videos, short vlogs and behind the scene videos of Flying Pandas shoots. Later, comedy videos also came on his channel. Among other things, Ju also talks about more serious topics on his channel from time to time:) Meanwhile, the channel "Julien Bam" has over 5 million subscribers. Its formats are: Singing cover/videos, dance videos, #HeyJu (in which he answers questions from his fans), "The most embarrassing photos" and "YouTube is looking for the megastar", "Reality vs. film/sound".

• On the chest is a bird or a Phoenix with huge wings, because it has always been his dream to fly and the Phoenix is also a powerful bird. Furthermore, he has four iron roses on the chest. Behind the bird he had the moon tattooed, because he feels very attracted to the moon and has always been very fascinated by it. In addition, on his chest is the Chinese word for balance, because he thinks that everything should be in balance. By balance he understands the complement of opposites, which are in the same relation to each other.
• On his left forearm he has "Princess Mononoke," "Calcifer," and "Ohngesicht," characters from three different anime by Hayao Miyazaki.
