Justin E. Young (born: July 19, 1999 (1999-07-19) [age 25]), better known online by his first name and last initial, Justin Y. (formerly Jeyoung624), is a YouTube commenter who became notorious for frequently appearing in the comment sections of many videos.

About[]

Justin is known for frequently commenting on other people's videos. He is seen "everywhere" in comment sections across many videos by many creators (especially ones he is subscribed to). He usually comments memes and jokes (specifically on videos related to memes), and sometimes comments on videos talking about him.

Users have questioned how Justin's comments become so popular, and many theories have risen of him using like-bots. However, it may be a coincidence that most of his comments appear on the top comments. It's also likely due to his fame that people end up noticing his comments and liking them. YouTubers also sometimes pin Justin, leading his comment to becoming the top instantly.

His comments aren't always on the top as he sometimes adds comments that only get 60 likes. He confirmed all of this on one of his posts on his subreddit.[1]

History[]

Justin created his YouTube channel on August 20, 2012. He didn't start commenting frequently until years later.

Justin started to appear in the comments section of many videos on many channels often, and he began to gain notoriety for his commenting habits in late 2017. A subreddit centered around him was created in December 2017.

Justin continued his hobby into 2018. His YouTube channel has gained a massive amount of subscribers throughout these years, and as of December 2022, he has amassed nearly 800,000 subscribers without uploading a single video.

Trivia[]

  • He only uses Discord, YouTube and Reddit.[2]
  • Justin managed to gain all of his subscribers without making videos.
    • Despite hitting the 100,000 subscriber milestone, he never received a Silver Play Button due to YouTube denying his verification as he doesn't qualify as a content creator.
  • Justin spends 2-3 hours a day watching/commenting on YouTube.
    • The reason behind the short time, and the mass-produced numbers of comments, are because he confirmed that he doesn't watch most of the videos he comments on.
  • There was an unofficial parody account of Justin Y. called Justin Z. who also commented on a lot of videos. He gained nearly 9,000 subscribers as of January 2022 without uploading either. His channel art had chips instead of rice. The channel of Justin Z. was eventually terminated for violating community guidelines.
    • Also, there is an another parody account of Justin Y. called Just Tiny who has DeviantArt and Fandom. The channel of Just Tiny has been terminated for hate speech policy including Nazi anthem remixes.
  • If you check Justin Y's location on YouTube, you can see it says "Antarctica" as a joke.
