KING 5, otherwise known as NBC Seattle and KING-TV, is an American news channel located in Seattle, Washington. They're known for their news network on weather, traffic, events, and more.

History[]

The news network was first aired on November 25, 1948, and was originally called KRSC-TV, until changing it to now called KING-TV in 1949.

On March 8, 2006, the channel was created, and uploaded their first video on March 30, 2011.[1]

Content[]

They usually upload videos on variety of topics, such as:

  • Weather: They update about the weather across the state of Washington, which they update twice per day.
  • Reports: They also makes reports, mainly taking them from live television and uploading it to their official channel. Sometimes, they talk about events outside of Washington state.
  • Around the Sound: A news update that talks about stories around the Puget Sound region.
