Mark Makora Mbogo (born: September 23, 1997 (1997-09-23) [age 27]), better known professionally as KayCyy or KayCyy Pluto, is a Kenyan-American rapper known for his credits on popular albums, such as Kanye West's album Donda and Lil Wayne's album Funeral.

Life[]

Mbogo was born on September 23, 1997, in Nairobi, Kenya. He and his family moved to the United States at age 9, landing in Minnesota. After high school, he moved to New York and later Los Angeles in pursuit of his music career.

Career[]

In 2016, Mbogo signed to record label Alive Productions, later leaving in 2021.

He has released two studio albums, Patient Enough and Ups & Downs, in 2020 and 2021. A third album, Who Is KayCyy?, is set to be released in 2023.

Mbogo has worked closely with Kanye West since 2019. They both met through record executive Abou "Bu" Thiam, who later became West's manager, as well as Mbogo's. Mbogo is currently signed to Bu's record label BuVision and Columbia Records and is credited as a performer and writer on West's tenth studio album Donda, including on the single "Hurricane", one of West's most successful singles on the album.

Mbogo released a collaborative EP with Gesaffelstein titled TW20 50 on March 11, 2022, and he released the album Get Used To It on June 2, 2022.

Mbogo created his channel on July 12, 2015, and he uploaded his first video on November 14, 2015. He uploads music videos and audio to his channel.
