Khabane "Khaby" Lame (born: March 9, 2000 (2000-03-09) [age 24]), also known as Mr KB, is a Senegalese-born TikToker and YouTuber who resides in Italy. He is most known for his TikTok series #LearnFromKhaby, where he silently reacts to mediocre and/or overly complicated life hacks in a mocking manner.

Origins & content[]

Khaby was born in Dakar, Senegal. His family moved to a public housing complex in Chivasso, Italy, when he was one year old. Before he started to post on TikTok, Khaby worked as a CNC machine operator in a factory near Turin. He started posting when he was laid off in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

His first videos were of him dancing and reacting to video game footage. He started to rise in popularity when he started to use TikTok's stitch feature. His most famous series, #LearnFromKhaby, is of him silently reacting to life hacks and performing the same task in a simple basic manner. These videos often feature him with a stoic smile and his iconic shrug at the end.

In April 2021, he surpassed Gianluca Vacchi as the most-followed Italian TikToker, and, in July 2021, he surpassed Addison Rae to become the second most-followed TikToker. In June 2022, he surpassed Charli D'Amelio as the most-followed TikToker on the platform.

In May 2021, he created his official YouTube channel, and, in September 2021, he would create two additional channels. One for vlogs and interviews and the other for mobile and PC gaming videos.

Filmography[]
