Kimberly Noel Kardashian (born: October 21, 1980 (1980-10-21) [age 44]), is a American actress, singer, YouTuber, Vlogger, Businesswomen and internet celebrity. On her YouTube channel, she uploads beauty and about her own beauty product, SKKN by Kim (previously known as KKW Beauty).

Early life[]

Kim Kardashian was born in Los Angeles, California on October 21, 1980 to Robert Kardashian, an attorney and businessman, and Kris Kardashian (later Jenner), a media personality, socialite, and businesswoman. She is the second child of the family with the first being Kourtney Kardashian (1978). Her later siblings were Khloé Kardashian (1984) and Rob Kardashian (1987). Her mother's ancestry is Dutch, English, Irish, and Scottish, while her father's ancestry is Armenian-American. After her parents divorced in 1991, her mother married Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner, and had two children with him. They were Kim's two half sisters Kendall Jenner (1995) and Kylie Jenner (1997).

Kardashian attended Marymount High School, a Roman Catholic all-girls school in Los Angeles. In 1994, her father represented represented O. J. Simpson during his murder trial case. It was later revealed that Simpson was Kardashian's godfather. Her father died on September 30, 2003 due to esophageal cancer.

Between 2003 and 2006, Kardashian made guest appearances on the TV show The Simple Life. Around the same time, she became close friend with Paris Hilton.

Balenciaga[]

On November 21, 2022, Shoe0nHead tweeted about the brand Balenciaga using children in their photoshoots. In one of these images, a court document about child exploitation material can be seen in the background. Though Balenciaga changed it afterwards, the backlash caused them to trend on Twitter and they closed down several of their social media accounts. Kim Kardashian also received backlash for saying that she was unsure whether to cut ties with them and Salma Hayek received backlash when it was found her husband was the CEO of Kering, Balenciaga's parent company.[1][2][3]
