Matthew D. "Matt" Jolly (born June 4, 1981), better known online as Krinkels, is an American YouTuber, animator, artist & the creator of the Madness Combat series, along with many other animations such as the Madness shorts, Breadman and two music videos.

Madness Combat[]
The Madness Combat series is a series of Flash animations made by Matt Jolly. The series has thirteen canon episodes so far. The musical scores are mainly composed by Sean Hodges, otherwise known as Cheshyre. It focuses around the main protagonist, Hank J. Wimbleton, and his endeavors of killing his foes. It is established in the second episode that the episodes are set "Somewhere in Nevada."
The state of Nevada, in the southwestern United States, is the setting/battlefield of the Madness Combat series. It was first established as the locale in the intro to Madness Combat 2: Redeemer. Krinkels stated that he only used this location because "it sounded cool", however the deserted location was perfect for the plot of the series. Nevada started off as a pristine, albeit completely gray, landscape, pockmarked with hills, cliffs and a few trees. However, as the series progressed, it began to take on an almost apocalyptic aura, especially after the sun was replaced with a red glow. One can only guess at the meaning of this, but it appears to have some connection with the ever increasing color of red in the series, from the blood to the red glasses of most of the characters. Red sometimes symbolizes death, which fits the series perfectly.
Breadman[]
Breadman is a small series of animations made by Krinkels before Madness Combat had started. It is about a man, called Breadman, that spent the animation either eating bread or dying. Krinkels has said that he hates the series.
The episodes include Breadman, The Death of Breadman, and The Return of Breadman.
Breadman (the first episode) is about a man watching TV, when he sees an announcement that states that bread causes cancer. He then recalls eating bread, and his head explodes.
In the sequel The Death of Breadman, Krinkels was upset that he didn't get enough recognition for the original Breadman, so he killed him many times.
In The Return of Breadman, he killed Breadman more times, basically repeating what he did in The Death of Breadman. These random killings eventually led to the inspiration of Marsh-Mellow-Madness, which later bloomed into Madness Combat 1 and the rest of the Madness Combat series.
