Krzysztof Roś (born: January 27, 2004 (2004-01-27) [age 21]), better known as Kris Ros, is a Polish YouTuber and music producer. Kris Ros is notably recognized as the founder of Roseate Media, an online collective encompassing channels such as Roseate Music and Roseate Mixes. Today, with over 200M total views and 300k+ total subscribers Kris Ros slowly builds a brand in mixes niche on YouTube. He was born in Kraków, Poland and lives in Katowice.

Career[]

Kris, inspired by several Polish YouTubers, created his channel in 2016. Initially, his content focused on MovieStarPlanet and Minecraft videos in Polish, allowing him to familiarize himself with editing and recording software. However, in 2019, he transitioned to creating vlogs in Polish. However, all of his Polish-language videos were set to private in early 2021.

In December of 2020 Kris made his first video in English, where he unboxed and reviewed DJ Controller Pioneer DDJ 200. This marked the beginning of his focus on electronic music-related content in English. In 2022, Kris Ros expanded his repertoire by experimenting with other channels and posting vlog-style videos online. Examples of such content include "I Spent 1 Hour Outside" and "Strangers Decide Which Trains We Take."

On January 30, 2022, Kris Ros launched a new channel, Roseate Music (originally named "Songs You'll Never Forget" and later "roseate daydreamer"). This channel featured music mixes curated by Kris, quickly gaining popularity. Within months, the channel surpassed milestones, reaching 1 million views in June 2022, followed by 10 million views in September 2022, 50 million views in February 2023, and 100 million views in May 2023. By January 2024, his channels had amassed over 200 million total views.

On January 1, 2023, Kris Ros further expanded his online presence by launching the second Roseate channel, Roseate Mixes (initially known as "roseate nostalgia"). Together, these channels boast a combined subscriber count of over 300,000.

Music[]

Kris created his first Nightcore in 2017, which can be considered its beginnings. In 2018, he shared his first remix of AronChupa's song - I'm An Albatraoz with viewers. He made his first remixes using a virtual DJ controller (Virtual DJ 8). On January 27, 2019 (his 15th birthday), he uploaded his first song "New" made in FL STUDIO 20 to the channel.

Following a brief hiatus, Kris Ros returned with his first music video for the track "Try Again," (sung by Kinga Paszek) which represented a milestone as it marked the first instance of him being both producer and lyricist of a song. In July 2020, he released his typically summer-song "Our Time". Created together with Cameron Pye, an English singer. In November 2020 he made a song with Brazilian singer Nickz called "Somebody" which with its remixes made over 40 000 plays (Youtube, Spotify, Soundcloud)

He started 2021 with new dance-pop record with another Brazilian singer, Guilherme Godoy "We Got Time" followed by his collaboration with Indian producer Lennix "The Days" which, as Kris Ros himself describes as "a collaboration between two producers from two very different parts of the world, Lennix from India and Kris Ros from Poland. This Chill track with melody inspired by Avicii's "The Days" is some kind of tribute to one of best producers of EDM. We used elements from tropical house in order to recreate the feeling of freedom, while listening to the song you can you think back to the beautiful moments on the beach, carefree holidays and the beauty of the world before the pandemic."

In 2022, Kris Ros released 2 remixes (TKRMSC - I'm Lost Without You, and DiPGLIDE - Salvation). This year he also released "cras es noster". In 2023 Kris Ros would keep on releasing more and more music, including "Tell Me Why", "This Is Not Real", "Sorry", "See You Again", "The Last Dance" and "december evenings". 2023 was also the year Kris would release many remixes. Notably, remixes became a focal point on his main channel during this period
