kson ONAIR (born: June 8) is an American-Japanese streamer, YouTuber and vlogger who has been a VShojo member since July 1, 2022.[1]
Content[]
Kson's first video was a stream of the game Mother Simulator, and she has also streamed HITMAN 2, Beat Saber, The Road to Hades, Dead by Daylight, Outlast, GUNPLA, Biohazard, Half Dead 2, Vampire Survivors, ARK Survival, Bayonetta, Shadow Corridor, Cooking Simulator, PUBG, Layers of Fear, Little Nightmares, Hand Simulator, Crowd Simulator, Resident Evil 4, Little Big Planet 2, LURK IN THE DARK, Mr. President, American Truck Simulator, Road Redemption, Human Rocket Person, Core Keeper, Heavy Rain, Vampire Survivors and Reiko's Fragments. Her favorite game of all time is the Yakuza series.
She also watches films with her audience such as Pacific Rim, Suicide Squad and Sherlock Holmes. However these film watch-alongs are only for her channel members.
Because she speaks Japanese and has a mostly Japanese-speaking audience, Kson hosts weekly streams where she teaches her Japanese viewers "Southern English" and covers the language's pronunciation, dialects and swear words. While teaching, she takes a strong and aggressive approach and often swears and acts belligerently.
She also makes vlogs, and vlog her birthday. While she used to use face-cams when streaming, she developed a VTuber model that resembled her real life appearance and occasionally uses it while streaming and collaborating with fellow VTubers.
She also reviews food.[2] and reacts to articles[3] She once attempted a make-up challenge, and cosplays.[4][5] Her other content includes her news segments, GMMF (Good Morning My Fans) News and Good Morning Motherfuckers Morning Shit News.
She hosts singing streams as well and reached her 1.15 Million subscribers milestone during one.[6] She also once sang while making cake.[7]
Collaborations[]
She has played Phasmophobia with Amano Pikamee and Tomari Mari. Pikamee also has appeared in her ARK streams and meme reviews. She has played Ultimate Chicken Horse with Pikamee and Guutura.
She is also a huge fan of Projekt Melody and on November 12, 2021, they collaborated. Later Kson would join the VShojo Minecraft server and murder CDawgVA, only to later pretend Connor was the one who killed her.
On December 29, 2021, Yura Rikudou launched her Minecraft company, Rikudou Constructions, where she recruited several indie VTubers as her employees.[8] She would also invite Kson due to their shared character designer, making the stream their first collaboration. She has played Labriynthe with Shylily, Pikamee, and bao[9] and has numerous collaborations with Nijisanji EN.
On January 22, 2022, Kson appeared on the Trash Taste podcast.[10] She was also the guest of episode 10 of Ironmouse's show Speak of The Devil.[11]
Guutara and Rika are close friends with Kson, and they all played APEX Legends in November 2021. Later on December, held an off-collaboration where they ate takoyaki together.
Kson once helped a smaller streamer by donating equipment to her after an earthquake damaged her old ones.[12]

Her second VTuber outfit was designed by yaman and modeled by Himono Kanbutsu.[13][14]
Kson's VTuber background contains a poster of Projekt Melody.
She sometimes holds streams where her VTuber model head is on her real body.
Controversy[]
Nijisanji ban[]
In November 2022, kson revealed in a stream that she was friends with many VTubers in Nijisanji, and despite them messaging her behind the scenes and calling her an inspiration, they were not allowed to collaborate with her. Kson even stated "Nijisanji hates me".
This is because back in 2020, when kson used to stream under a different identity, she mentioned Taiwan's existence as a country when acknowledging the countries her viewers were from, which angered Chinese nationalists. As a huge chunk of Nijisanji's parent company ANYCOLOR relies on Chinese investment (many estimates suggest the figure is at least 20%), pulling out of China would have a significant impact on their stability as a company and in all likelihood require many talents to be let go. To make matters even worse, kson had also travelled to Taiwan recently on a trip, which made her reputation more controversial amongst Chinese nationalists.[15]

Personal Life[]
She is ethnically half white American and half Japanese. Despite her channel description saying that she is from Atlanta, Georgia, she was actually born and raised in Dunwoody, Georgia, before moving to Japan (this is shown in her accent, when she speaks Japanese it is with an unusual drawl, but later disappeared).[16]
Kson resides with her roommate and closest friend, who she nicknames "Pajako" due to her love of wearing pajamas. Pajako and kson have also travelled before.[17]
Kson graduated from college twice.[18]

kson auditioned for one of the roles as a hostess in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.[19] She landed a spot as a finalist and appeared in the game as a hostess.[20]

- Kson claimed that her birthday was on the 93rd of August, aka 8/93. This is a reference to 893, the yakuza number. She also claims her height to be 189.3 cm.[23] Kson's fans go along with this.
- Referring to her as Bayonetta or Baiken from Guilty Gear due to her having a strong physical resemblance to them. Kson actually has cosplayed as Bayonetta before.[24]
- Calling her Kumichou, Souchou and Aneki. Some also call her a "dragon".
