―Kurtis Conner's intro

Kurtis Matthew Kenneth Conner[1] (born on May 4, 1994 (1994-05-04) [age 31]) is a Canadian[2] commentary YouTuber and stand-up comedian. He makes videos on multiple different topics, most notably strange Canadian TV shows, and Seventeen's series "Bestie Picks Bae".

He went on the series with his friend, Dean Hebscher.[3] He also hosts comedy shows around the U.S. and Canada.

He also often collaborates with close friends and fellow Viners-turned-commentary YouTubers, Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden, both of which he went on tour with.

Content[]

Kurtis typically makes content relating to commentary. He has made videos on different topics, including talking about specific Facebook t-shirts, bad movies/shows, and TikTok "cringe".

TikTok commentary[]

A large amount of Kurtis's content is based on TikTok, with four out of ten of his most popular videos featuring one or more creators on the platform.

The video "The Country Girls of TikTok", most notably, has sparked multiple running gags on his channel, including the phrase "yee yee” as well as camouflage jokes.

Other videos of his have prompted their subjects, such as the TikTok sisters' creator channel, Wewearcute (which he initially misreads as We we are cute), to call him out in their videos in response. When Kurtis made a video about e-boys, people that he featured in his video poke fun at him in their TikToks.

TV commentary[]

Kurtis also makes many videos on bizarre TV shows or movies. His most popular video of this genre is a commentary on the movie Christian Mingle. He has also made videos on specifically Canadian media, such as Manhunt and A Very Cool Christmas. One of his most referenced videos is about a Czech movie called Goat Story.

Music[]

Kurtis has released some comedic tracks, collaborating with the likes of Danny Gonzalez and James Chapeskie.

His most popular songs are Blood-related and True Story (Pinocchio Diss Track) and he (and Drew) have also acted in Danny Gonzalez's The Tea[4] and In Love With A Creeper (ft. Kurtis Conner).[5]

His latest collab was in a music video titled Last Night, under one of Danny Gonzalez's many alter egos, FoxSzn, while under his own alter ego, 3Drinkz (a reference to one of the tracks composed by TikToker Girly Girl Productions), Last Night was discreetly released in Danny's YouTube channel under the name Fox Szn.

Comedy[]

Kurtis is a well-known comedian, whether it be on YouTube or with his stand-up shows across North America. He has also released his routines on iTunes, many of which have got #1.

Tours[]

Outside of his own stand-up shows, Kurtis has done other stand-up tours, such as the We Are Two Different People tour with Drew Gooden and Danny Gonzalez.

Personal life[]

Kurtis was born in the borough of North York, Toronto, but grew up in the satellite city of Hamilton. He attended Humber College's comedic arts program. His parents are divorced, and he mentions having older sisters[6], with one of his sisters being named Kylie.[7] His mother's name is Kelly and his late stepfather's name was Lawrence.

Before Kurtis became a full-time YouTuber, he worked as a golf caddy, a McDonald's employee, and a process server. However, he says that being a YouTuber has been the most enjoyable of all. Kurtis has also worked as a Starbucks barista for three years, during his time as a content creator on Vine.[8]

Kurtis worked for Inkbox, a company that manufactures semi-permanent tattoos, before quitting to pursue a career as a full-time YouTuber and comedian. He has reunited with said company on several occasions, either through Inkbox's sponsorship of his videos[9] or through partnering with Inkbox to create his own tattoo collection.[10]

Kurtis enjoys getting tattoos.[11] He received his first tattoo, of an orca whale, alongside his sister. He has matching tattoos with his wife, Jenna Allard, they both have hearts with 'ILYSB' (I Love You So Bad) and they have chosen surprise tattoos for one another.[12][13]

In October 2022, Kurtis married his long-time girlfriend, Jenna Allard. The wedding took place in Italy.[14] In October 2023, they had another wedding with their family and friends in Jenna's hometown Algoma, Canada.[15]
