Clint Basinger (born: December 20, 1986), better known online as LGR (short for Lazy Game Reviews) is an American YouTuber that specializes in creating content of vintage electronics. He joined on March 9, 2006.
Content[]
LGR is well-known for reviewing video games (mainly The Sims, and others), electronics, and devices. His Sims 4 videos generally have a negative outlook on the game, but in another video he addressed that he does, in fact, like the game. In these reviews, he always discusses the chairs coming with the expansion, giving them a different name in each review. He also occasionally uploads vlogs of him going to thrift shops, as he is an avid collector of old games (especially PC games from the 1980's to the early 2000's) He is also well-known for reviewing oddware, which is basically technology that he described as "odd, forgotten and obsolete". Most of the time on any computer, computer games, oddwares, and etc., he usually just types in the word 'farts'.
LGR is also known for his liking of Duke Nukem, the videogame series, to which he not only able to perform a Duke Nukem impersonation, but also uses the mayonnaise brand Dukes, mostly because of the brand name, in the LGR Foods channel.
In late September 2024, LGR's home in Asheville, North Carolina was crushed by two trees due to a hurricane[1]. His own home was leaking rainwater from the massive damage, leading to many of his own computers, CRTs, and other oddware to be hurricane-damaged.[2][3] He was able to return to his renovated house by October 2025, and had already showcased some of his surviving classic gear such as the Woodgrain 486 PC at the VCF Midwest event a month prior.[4]
