Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born: March 28, 1986), better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She is known for her unconventionality, provocative work and visual experimentation. Gaga began performing as a teenager, singing at open mic nights and acting in school plays. Since her professional debut in 2001, she's released a total of 6 studio albums, including The Fame, (2008, reissued as The Fame Monster in 2009), Born This Way, (2011), Artpop, (2013), Cheek to Cheek, (2014, with Tony Bennett), Joanne, (2016), and Chromatica, (2020). To this day, she's one of the most popular, and significant artists in pop music, with dozens of hit songs throughout the late 2000's and the entirety of the 2010s, and has also collaborated with countless other artists, too.
