La+ "Laplus" Dia Highest Death 13 Daina Art of Impact Sign Emperor Road of the Darknesss (ラプラス・ダークネス) (born May 25 [age unknown]) is a Japanese VTuber affiliated with hololive.[2] She debuted as a part of its 6th Japanese generation, Secret Society HoloX, along with Lui Takane, Chloe Sakamata, Iroha Kazama and Koyori Hakui.

La+'s channel was created in September 2021, but her existence was announced on November 26, 2021, when the official Hololive Twitter account released a video announcing their sixth generation of Japanese VTubers. La+ made her first tweet the same day.
On November 26, 2021, Laplus' debut video was streamed and she held a chatting stream afterwards. She has played the games Shadowverse, Valorant, Godfield, Garctic Phone, Pokemon: Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, Shadowverse, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Rhythym Heaven Fever and The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage. Her first song cover was of 神っぽいな - Pinocchio-P, and she has also covered LiFE - Osanzi and Bitter Choco Decoration - Syudou.
She has uploaded several shorts of her doing miscellaneous things, such as singing Haachama's rap and drawing realsitically[3].On 14 December 2021, La+ uploaded her first ASMR stream[4].
Collaborations[]
She has played Granny Simulator versus Rushia, and all of HoloX played Among Us with Suisei, Matsuri, Miko and Noel. She also enjoys holding rap battles, starting with Haachama, which Haachama admitted that she won, even though it was her first attempt at rapping. However she lost to Calliope[5].
Nene, Rushia and Laplus have played APEX Legends together[6].
She is a huge fan of Towa Tokoyami due to her singing, even though Towa makes fun of her. After Towa beat her in Clubhouse 51 Games, Laplus was demoted to her subordinate[7]. Towa was featured in her Garctic Phone stream, as was Noel, Marine, Okayu, Korone and Lui[8]. In Laplus' first Twitch stream, she featured Shion.
Laplus texts Iroha on a daily basis and has implied some affection for her.
Laplus' favorite VTuber is Patra Suou, and she was elated to find out that Patra watches her everyday[9].
Laplus, Sora, Watame and Marine all held a collaboration with Japanese voice actress and singer Sachiko Kobayashi, who is best known for voicing Vocaloid 4. The stream was of them learning voice acting lessons from her[10]. Later Laplus, Iroha, Gura and Calliope would partake in an English-language learning stream[11].
In March 2022, with the release of The Batman, Laplus interviewed Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz[12].
Her roommate can be heard in some streams, but she is unnamed, and Laplus refers to her as "woman".
Design[]
Her name is a reference to Laplace's Demon. Her full name could also be read as "La+ Dear Highest Death 13 Dyna Art of Impact Sign Emperor Lord of the Darknesss".
Her illustrator is Kurone Mishima[13], and worked on the anime Konosuba.
She is 4'7 (139cm), and the shortest Hololive member. It is unknown if this includes her horns. Before her debut, Gura 4'7 (141cm) and Luna 4'7 (140cm) were the shortest members.
Her modeler is Jujube[14].
La+'s overall aspects resembles Shien Kageyama's, including their position in lore, their stream introductions, and their color motif.

She was originally known for her vast power and intelligence, but most of it is now sealed away.
She is vaguely aware of the debilitating nature of her shackles but does not remember when or how they got there.
The crow by her side is a long-time companion.

On 31 March, 2022, the official Shadowverse Twitter account tweeted that Laplus was to be featured on the second booster pack, Black Silver Bahamut.[17]

Fandom[]
Her fanbase is officially called "Plusmate" 「ぷらすめいと」. Their fan slogan is "Yes My Dark" or "YMD". A Twitter poll also offered the options YMD, Yamada 「山田」, and Darkside 「ダークサイド」 as a fanbase name but these were rejected. Laplus addresses them as "kisamara", which can be translated as "You guys" (derogatory), "You lot", "You fools" or something similar.

In-jokes/memes[]
- Some fans joked that La+ is Shion Murasaki's child due to their similar appearances. Some fans also think Gura is her dad, since she and Shion got "married" a month before her debut.
- Another joke is that since her fans say "YMD", holoX's "secret society" is actually Japanese consumer electronics chain YaMaDa Denki.
- Laplus's reactions during her ASMR collab with Koyori in December 2021 became infamous among viewers.
- Despite being called a "loli" a lot, Laplus is an adult and often gets frustrated whenever she is referred to as a "loli" or "small child". Because of this, her fellow idols often pick on her by calling her a child.[21][22][23].
- Laplus' poor wifi connection, which led to her having to cancel collabs and streams (though in February 2022, she moved houses and resolved the issue).
- This also led to another meme, "Wifi-kun, Ganbatte!" *BOOM*[24].
- As a child, she drew circles on her desk before, wrote poems and painted her notebook's blank white pages black with pencils[25]. This has led to many calling her a chuunbiyou. Even Rushia called her one after hearing her greeting[26].

She is the eldest of five siblings.[28] Her parents and brothers watch her streams.[29]

- She likes Western media and movies, such as DC/MCU films, the Arrowverse, and the Fast and the Furious movies. In her debut she stated that one of her goals was to become Superman[30].
- She has admitted that like Aqua, she is a NEET.
- Laplus uses the pronoun "wagahai" when referring to herself.
- This pronoun signifies one who thinks highly of themself and is not often used in Japan.
- Laplus and her brother once tried to run away from home after a fight.[31]
