Jacob Smith, better known online as Larry, is an Australian YouTuber and full-time editor who is well known for having a competition with Barry for the most subscribers to defeat his enemy for once and for all, and Larry is the channel that had one subscriber according to the thumbnail of the live-stream. Larry had a live-stream going on that is the same as Barry's live-stream, so there would be a home channel advantage on this channel. Most of his subscribers are friendly wanting good sportsmen ship but a few select have been hostile to some of Barry's subscribers who just want good sportsmanship. Larry or Barry has not said anything about it yet but its such a small thing they probably haven't noticed or been told.
There was a face reveal that ended up being a trick because there was still censorship of the face, so this would be more like a joke. But, he did the face reveal when he hit 100,000 subscribers.
On the Larry channel, there are calls for getting more subscribers that match the competitor, and there is a call for JackSucksAtLife to help out with subscribing to Larry which helped him out a lot with subscribers. There is even a video on Jack's channel that promotes his efforts to encourage people to subscribe to Larry.
However, more recent videos show that Larry plays video games such as Minecraft and transitioned into a more serious channel, and there is a story about making a camera into a taser. There was a parody mentioned by Gucci Gang called Larry Gang. There is a hate comment response video.
Larry has dedicated his channel to charity, donating all ad revenue to charitable causes. He also has a running Community Video series, where he gets viewers to send in submissions to feature on his channel. So far, Community Videos have been posted by TheAidanator, Ilyx, and Star Catz. TheAidanator also edits videos occasionally for Larry.
From this meme, there have been many spin-offs, usually ends with "arry". (E.g Harry, Garry, Marry) The most popular in which has gained over 20,000 subscribers off this spin-off. The channel goes by the username, Garry.
He has edited a few of JackSucksAtLife's videos. He edits Muselks videos and enjoys editing them. JackSucksAtLife has helped Larry gain a few thousand subscribers which Larry appreciates.
On 2nd November, 2020, Larry uploaded a video titles 'How much TNT does it take to MELT my PC in Minecraft?. After that he suddenly stopped uploading but 9 months later he uploaded a video titled 'Husky Screams at Google Home'.
