Trent Students Don't Know The Definition Of Violence

Lauren Southern (born: June 16, 1995 (1995-06-16)) is a Canadian-Australian author, filmmaker, political commentator and YouTuber known for her political videos.

Content

Her first video was uploaded on 15 November 2015 called "Trent Students Don't Know The Definition Of Violence", where she detailed her experience going to the Trent university wearing a sombrero and claimed her gender was an attack helicopter. She went to Berkeley with similar intentions. She would also give her opinion on political/trending events and would also respond to fellow anti-social justice warriors such as Thunderf00t and Sargon of Akkad.

On March 10 2017 she announced that she was going independent and doing freelance journalism, and going after the White House elites. She has made several anti Islam videos, calling the Left hypocrites for defending it as its views on women, homosexuals and Athiests contradict the views the Left holds. At a UK Feminist rally she went around asking them if they cared more about Islam or feminism. She opposes refugees and believes that they are faking being refugees and in reality, they are economic migrants. She holds the same belief for refugees in countries outside of Canada such as France and the UK. She repeatedly investigates and reports on refugee camps, which was referenced in her anti-illegal immigration speech at the EU.

She has promoted The Great Replacement, a conspiracy theory that claims Jews are intentionally flooding Europe with non-white refugees in order to replace white people. However, she did not mention Jews in the video, which is now deleted. Many leftists claim that she inspired the Christchurch shooter which she denied, and debunked in a video uploaded in July 2021. The shooter's manifesto also did not mention Lauren.

She believes that mainstream culture and third wave feminism give bad advice and are setting up millenials for failure and unhappiness. She is also critical of third wave feminism for their war on fathers. Despite being Canadian she has professed her support for Donald Trump. She is critical of Justin Trudeau and his policies - in October 2016, Southern had her gender legally changed to male as part of a video produced for The Rebel Media to show the ease of Ontario's new gender ID laws. However, she is only legally a man in Ontario. She wrote a book the same year called Barbarians: How Baby Boomers, Immigrants, and Islam Screwed My Generation, which received the endorsement of Ann Coulter.

Her controversial beliefs got her banned from PayPal and Patreon after pressure by left-wing activists, and YouTube demonetized her channel in 2017. She opened a SubscribeStar account in 2020.

Retirement and Return

In 2019, she announced her retirement to return to University but returned a year later. Her retirement and return came under suspicion by Laura Loomer and MILO, who wrote an article accusing her of sleeping with right-wing commentators so they can write scripts for her, as well as spreading rumors regarding Laura. Milo also alleged that her cameraman, Caolan Robertson had ties to Hope Not Hate, a British far-left organization, and that him and his boyfriend defrauded Alex Jones, Ezra Levant (He was also extorted), Tommy Robinson while he was in prison, as well as his wife, and Lauren herself. They also leaked travel information regarding Gavin McInnes, and he was stalked at an airport. Lauren denied the accusations.

She uploaded a video in 2022 that denied some of the allegations against her, and also accused Squatting Slav TV and Paul Joseph Watson of harassing her after she turned down a relationship with them. She claimed that her retirement was forced by the Australian government and that Milo Yiannopoulos took advantage of her silence to defame her.

On an episode of Chrissie Mayr's SimpCast, she and Ashton Whitty claimed that Andrew Tate, Groypers, and many dissident right figures were in a sex trafficking ring. This allegation was mocked by many of Chrissie's fans and by Lana Lokteff.[1]

Documentaries

She is outspoken about the South African genocides and has gone into excessive detail about their camps, the people affected, the civil war and the media's silence. The events of the country have inspired her to make the documentary Farmlands.

In August 2018 she announced her new documentary Borderless which was about Muslim refugees. The documentary was negatively received by alt-right commentators such as Lana Lokteff of Red Ice TV.

In 2020, the trailer for her film Crossfire was released.

In March 2021 she began working on her documentary Empty Nest.

Personal Life

Southern was born in Surrey, British Columbia. She studied political science at the University of the Fraser Valley, but after two years decided to leave.

She is currently residing in Canada with her husband and their child. She has stated that her husband is not white.

In 2017, she was threatened with legal action after falsely accusing Laura Loomer, a Jewish journalist, of rape.[2]
