Lisa 'Lisbug' Erin Schwartz (born: April 4, 1983 (1983-04-04) [age 41]), or simply lisbug, is an American vlogger and comedian from Los Angeles, California. She appeared on Atom TV and Comedy Central's Tosh.

Personal Life[]

Lisa was born in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California. Early in her life, she tried many things but failed at them. She then got into the theater after a children's theater production of Peter Pan and since then she knew she always wanted to be in entertainment. She was always considered to be the nice one. She would follow the rules and always get straight As. In the 7th grade, she started going to a prep school, where she said she made a lot of friends but was also bullied for her looks and being overweight. During this time, Lisa's home life wasn't doing so well, as her parents would be fighting all the time. The way she coped was by continuing to do theater and dance classes at her school, which she was featured in all the plays.

Lisa attended the University of California Irvine (UCI), where she continued to do theater. during the end of her first semester, she had gotten word that her parents were getting separated. Not wanting to face reality, she didn't go home and worked during the summer as a barista, a men's suit expert and a birthday party princess.

After graduation, she moved back home with only her dad (her mother and brother had moved out). During that time she hit rock bottom, she would have daily panic attacks and have depression. She eventually moved out and get an apartment in Hollywood, where she would go on to audition for the Fine Brothers.

YouTube and Further Career[]

Lisbug then created her YouTube channel after the Fine Brothers encouraged her to while auditioning for a comedy show on their network. She posted vlogs, comedy videos, skits, sketches as well as a few gaming videos. She has also done quite a few parodies of popular songs in collaboration with other popular YouTubers. From there she went on to doing voice acting and ultimately stepped into the hugely competitive arena of digital media.

She made her foray into on-screen acting with several projects with online entertainment platforms like Seventeen and Yahoo, as well as making appearacnes in several comedy specials under Disney's Maker Studio banner. Since late 2016, she is associated with ABC Digital's original show ‘This isn’t working’ as both writer and actor.

She voiced Talking Angela and numerous other characters on Talking Tom and Friends.

  • She has a dog named Unicorn, whose nickname is "Corny".
  • Her mom, Jennifer Schwartz[1], also appears in The Fine Bros, on Elders React.
  • She dated fellow YouTuber Shane Dawson from 2011 until 2015. Whilst they're broken up, they remain, close friends.
  • She was featured in the TV Show “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”, as well as in Shane Dawson's movie "Not Cool." which was her first movie.
