Living Ironically in Europe's tweet

János,[1] better known online as Living Ironically in Europe, is a YouTuber known for his videos about Eastern and Balkan Europe.

Content[]

Living Ironically in Europe's first video was about his favorite things about Serbia. His next videos were vlogs of him going to Prague (Czechia), Croatia, London (United Kingdom), Mount Olympus (Greece) and Berlin (Germany). He would go on to make informative videos about Eastern European and Balkan culture, national stereotypes, languages, misconceptions, politics, revolutions, wars, holidays and other informative topics. These explanations are often accompanied by memes, sped-up videos, and macro images of anime characters. Living Ironically in Europe has made similar videos dedicated to Baltic Europe and Greece.

His other content includes travelling to various other countries and gaming livestreams.

Personal life[]

He identifies as an ethnic Hungarian from Serbia. His DNA test showed he was of Bosnian, Croatian, Romanian, Serbian, Greek and Bulgarian descent.[2][3] Despite the DNA test, all the members of his family are either Serbian or Hungarian, and Living Ironically in Europe identifies as a Hungarian from Serbia (délvidéki magyar / vajdasági).[4] [5]

He is a citizen of Serbia, Hungary, and the United States.[6] He currently resides in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.[7]
