Lloyd Cafe Cadena † (September 22, 1993 – September 4, 2020 [aged 26]) was a Filipino YouTuber known for his vlogs, pranks, challenges, unboxing videos, cooking videos, collaboration videos, etc. He has his own YouTube sketch series entitled "LC Learns".
Biography[]
Lloyd Cafe Cadena was born on September 22, 1993, in Parañaque City.
Difference before and after death
He majored in financial management at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran and formerly studied at Olivarez College. As a student, he worked in Alyansa Letranista and the Letran Student Council alongside fellow YouTube vlogger and social media personality, MacoyDubs.
Cadena has two older sisters and one older brother. His parents, Saturnino Cadena and Lorita Cafe, are Filipino migrant workers in the United Arab Emirates. Upon Lloyd's newfound fame, he was able to bring his mother home, who in turn has succeeded him in the social media world as "Mother Kween".
Death[]
On 1 September 2020, Cadena was hospitalized due to fever and dry cough and was later tested positive for COVID-19. He died on 4 September due to cardiac arrest and was later cremated.[1]
Following his death, Cadena's close friends, fellow vloggers and celebrities expressed their condolences to Cadena's family, most notably American pop singer Mariah Carey of whom Cadena was a fan.[2] It was then decided by "Mother Kween" to have the original Lloyd Cadena channel be kept as an archive and a memorial to her late son, with new activity from Loreta and her friends and family being posted on a separate channel.
