His real name is Harry. He was 43 years old and married.[3] He also has 1 son who, as of 2020, is 9 years old. His voice appeared in one of his videos [4]

He said in a video that his wife is from Russia, and she helped him into translating cyrillic scripts on a lock from Russian to English.[citation needed]
He resides and practices law as an attorney in the Washington D.C. area, though his P.O. Box address on his Channel was in Damascus, Maryland.[5] The focus of his practice is unrelated to lockpicking.[citation needed]
LockPickingLawyer first got interested in lockpicking when he was a school student, although he abandoned his interest until 2015 when he was 32 years old. He launched his channel four months after getting into the hobby.[citation needed]
