Luto Araka is an Australian VTuber affiliated with PRISM.

Content[]

Luto created her channel on the March 23, 2021. She makes a variety of content, and is known to often pull pranks and troll others. One such prank was of her invading Meno Ibuki's stream along with Rita Kamishoro. It is also a running joke that she is in a 'war' with the audience, hence why she casually swears at them and insults them. The first game she ever played was Subnautica, but she has also played Limbo, Untitled goose game, Getting Over It and One Hand Clapping.[1]

She reviews anime once a week, and so far has reviewed so far include Dragon Maid, My Hero Academia, Re:Zero, Jujutsu Kaizen, Fruits Basket and Tensura. Her anime reviews extend to reviewing boobs.[2] She also hosts meme reviews once a week, and will often involve her fans in them by telling them to use a certain hashtags so she can review/react to their submissions.

Her primary language is English, but she speaks Japanese and Chinese at a communicative level, and is in the process of learning Russian, as evidenced by her streams of Duolingo.[3] She also covers songs, with her first cover being of My Heart Will Go On.[4] At one point, her most viewed video was a 10 hour karaoke stream, which featured her singing Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up every time someone donated $100. She has also covered K/DA's MORE. Though initially being just a singer, she started to play the kalimba after seeing Iku Hoshifuri's streams.[5] A running gag in her collaborations with PRISM's first gen is of her pining for the affections of Aoi Tokimori, but always failing.

She is also known for being the polar opposite of Rita Kamishiro, as Rita is calm and patient whereas she is fiery and vulgar. She has actually admitted to being jealous of Rita. On the 6th of August, 2021, the two started a podcast, "Off the Scruff", where they discuss anime.[6]

For her 2021 birthday celebration, she made her first cooking stream, where she cooked burgers amongst other foods. In the same year she uploaded her first animation.[7]

Collaborations[]

Luto was one of PRISM's Vtubers who played Among Us with the VTubers of Tsunderia.[8] She has also played Don't Starve Together with fellow demon Reina Sun, and was also part of the PRISM Project x Production Kawaii Garctic Phone collaboration[9][10].

On the 9th of October, Luto collaborated with her character designer, Nachoneko, and another VTuber designed by her, Naname Gokigen, in a playthrough of RAFT.[11]

Lore[]

Long ago, in another world,

A prophet once stated:

"On the 6th of June, of year 666,

A demon with terrifying powers,

Will be born...

And she is destined,

To become the next demon queen."

In that year,

The demon lord had a baby daughter,

And he named her "Luto".

Not long after Luto's birth,

A war between the demons

And humans broke out,

And a lot of life was tragically lost...

During the chaos,

Luto and her mother,

Were separated from her father...

And so,

Until Luto had grown up,

She lived with her mother

In the human world.

Then, thousands of years pass,

And Luto was finally

Reunited with her father.

Luto then began learning many skills,

To become the next demon queen.

However, after a while,

Luto began to realise,

She was different from other demons...

One fateful night,

Luto snuck into her father's study room,

And discovered a machine,

That led to alternate worlds.

She peaked into the machine,

And saw worlds,

That were similar to hers.

However, unlike her world,

Those worlds

Were filled with joy and laughter.

Drawn in by the warmth,

Luto decided to enter the machine.

And thus, a new story begins,

And that is the story

Of the birth of a new idol...

Like all PRISM Project members, she is a special agent from the year 2120, who time travelled to the past to prevent the threat of humans losing interest and passion for others.
